Friendly locals, good food and a beautiful campus but the roads are a logistical nightmare... one way / wrong way / do not enter... Ugh!

OSU is a great university in one of the most friendly towns in Oregon. The campus is beautiful and easy to travel. Very bike friendly and walker friendly,so put the car in a parking spot (if you can find one) and walk to where you want. Many great places to eat nearby and many things to do.

One of the top schools on the West Coast, located in a comfortable big town. Great research school, surrounded by mountain ranges, rivers and the Pacific Ocean only an hour west. Whether studying, or enjoying the varied summer and winter sports school sports, or just plain recreational opportunities, the area is surrounded by vineyards, christmas tree farms, blueberry and strawberry u-pick fields, and top-notch salmon/steelhead rivers.

This small bakery is located across from the beautiful river front park. Sidewalk tables in the summer enhances the experiences of tasting fresh bread with jam, coffee or the many other offerings on the menu. The artesian bakery has unique breads that all taste great and you will probably like to buy some for the road. A good place to also meet local people who walk the path along the Willamette river or visit the nearby downtown.Don't hesitate to ask for samples as the owners provide free generous cuts of bread along with butter and jam. The riverside park has a small water park where children can cool in the summer and tourist can walk or bicycle along the path. On a good weather day there is not a better place to enjoy food and the beauty of Oregon.

Beautiful campus with lots to do!! Our son is considering this university so this is our second visit. It was cool and foggy but still a beautiful atmosphere. Lively college

Oregon State University in Corvallis has a really beautiful campus. Great classical university architecture laid out beautifully.

My daughter goes to OSU, great school. Corvallis is a great town. Lots to do and the campus is beautiful. Going to am OSU football game. GO Beavs!!

We are checking out colleges for our kids, and this is a very nice campus,and an awesome school with great credentials. It was nice visiting while school was in session as you really got to "feel" it first hand. This is the 4th college we have visited and so far, it ranks in first place with us.!

OSU is a great campus filled with old and new buildings that really capture the classic academic look. They have top rated degrees/programs and one of a hand full of schools that has a working nuclear reactor.

I only had a very short pit stop at OSU on my way out of town, however I liked the look of the campus. I actually attended the University of Oregon, however was pleased with the way OSU looked. Worth a stopover to have a look around.

Loved the campus, although having the train tracks running right through it is a Little odd. Wonderful stadium and athletic facilities overall. Tight and compact, but large enough for a good walk.

This university is very well located in town. Lots of open green spaces and nice gardens. perfect to hang out with friends for a coffee and mingle with students.

Worth several wanders, if you're in Corvallis. Impressive stadium and don't miss the Beaver Store if you're an OSU fan.

Its so beautiful and innovative, a must see for visitors to Oregon. There's a lot of recreation in the area including hikes, paths, and parks. There's so many cultural and sporting events on campus and the town is full of great places to eat. Awesome place.

This campus is just beautiful. Certain parts have an Ivy League feel like Waldo Hall. It is currently going through a bit of construction but still worth visiting even just to walk around.
