leddy park

I found this by mistake but thoroughly enjoyed it. I barely found anyone else exploring this unique park in the Burlington/Colchester area

It is an easy walk from our apartment. Love going down for nice quiet sunsets and enjoying the water

Good time - good cost. Mild bruises that will heal. Rent the skates, its worth it. They are sharp and very comfportable.

The hockey rink is a bit old, and there are few amenities on the beach. On the other hand, the rink runs night and day for skaters and hockey players, the beach has a beautiful view, and the fields provide for soccer, softball, tennis, and basketball. All free!

I have never been to the ice arena at Leddy (although I know there are family skate afternoons and lots of hockey there.) I love Leddy for it's beach. When North Beach is a zoo...Leddy is still relaxing.

We had a birthday party there and rented the back ice. Plenty of room for more people than we could invite. It was a great time for a great price.

This is my favorite local beach. It doesn't get as crowded as some of the other ones and is long enough to be able to spread out. And it's sandy! It's shallow so it's good for little kids, too.

the bike path goes right into leddy park. we went on a saturday and it was really busy people were in the water and it was kind of low so they had to go out a little farther then normal but they all looked like they were having a good time. we stoped there on our bike trip just to take in the view and a little brake, was very pritty
