west river farmers market

The West River Farmer's Market occurs every year in Londonderry Center at Route 100 and. Each week from May through September (or early October) local farmers, bakers, butchers, and craftspeople come out to sell their fresh grown food, and deliciously prepared meats, cheeses, and baked goods to other locals and visitors in a bucolic setting along the West River. Vegetables are delivered to the fair atmosphere direct from the farm and the taste is sweeter for it. Craftmakers from jewelers to weavers to ironsmiths delight onlookers with their skills (when demonstrating) and their designs. Gifts for the holidays are always found at the Market too. Most weekends talented local musicians will entertain you. There is seating for munching on freshly prepared snacks and meals onsite.There are a number of Farmer's Markets in Southern Vermont on varying days of the week, but this one on Saturdays is among the best. This little market has a lot to offer. The vendors are so friendly and love to share their knowledge regarding their products. Delicious food being cooked right in front of you, beautiful jewelry, amazing pottery, locally grown veggies/meat/flowers, and clothing are just a few items that keep me coming back to this market year after year!
