The tour was very informative by well educated staff the were eager to answer all the questions you can throw at them. The whole place was just an amazing site to see, including the bottling area which is mesmerizing along with seeing and hearing the history behind an iconic American brewery. From start to finish I enjoyed myself and would go again, plus who could say no to the free beer at the end of the tour.

We took the Yuengling tour before heading over to the Strawberry Festival and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The tour facility was easy to find and the tour itself was just the right length with humor and information and free beer at the end. Perfect! We just wish the bottling portion of the factory was working but apparently doesn't run except a few times a month. Taking us right into the tasters' lab was neat and meeting two of the long time employees was special as they pleasantly answered questions and chatted with us.

Free tour and at the end you get free beer. How can you beat this?????It was another cool day in Tampa and we were looking for something to do that would be indoors. While this wasn't totally indoors, it was worth the effort to stay warm when outside and the bonus was the free beer samples at the end.We had a great young gal who was most entertaining as our tour guide. She obviously had done this many times since she was very quick with her responses to some of the comments made by the group. She had a very good sense of humor and was knowledgeable about the beer making process. The tour starts in the visitor center, takes you outside and up some stairs to the vats where the beer is brewed. You then go outdoors again to where the grains are delivered and stored. From there you visit the chemist who is the brew meister. Tough job!!!Then it's back to the outside and into the visitor center where you get your choice of 2 beer samples from about 5-6 in total. And the samples are a pretty good size for samples. This was fun and educational, and for beer lovers this is heavenj!!!

It's really as simple as the title line. The tour is informative, quick paced and funny (particularly if you have the good fortune to have Brendan as a guide). The beer samples are delicious and free. What more could you ask? Yuengling is an American institution. Drinking a free lager sample is your patriotic duty. Quick Tips:Closed toe shoes are required to take the tour.Portions of the tour are outside, adjust your dress accordingly. There are a good number of steps to climb, be prepared. The gift store is very reasonably priced. I recommend it.

This was a very informative tour of America's greatest brewery. Our tour guide or Brandon was very informative and personable. If you're visiting the Tampa area you should really check out younglings second brewery.

Auf Wiedersehen

Very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. Super atmosphere, all employees eager to share information. Great insider insights. Tasty free beer. Free tour!

Great tour guide, very knowledgable and informative. Not really for kids though as the tour is a lot of walking and listening. We had a couple of little ones on our tour this morning that cried, screamed, and yelled throughout the entire time, often drowning out the tour guide. :-(

good free tour, no reservation in advance was needed, with very friendly guide, tasting after tour nice too, good, but not superb quality of beers, but i admit it's difficult to find as good quality and tastes of beers as in Belgium, so for american beers, really good brews...

We had a few hours to kill before our flight left out of Tampa international. We looked up attractions in the Tampa area and this caught our eye. My bf and I are both fans of Yuengling so this was perfect. The young lady who took us on our tour was funny and in formative. We toured on a Thursday so the bottling process was not in action but never the less it was still very neat. They recommend you tour early in the week like mon-wed to see the factory fully functioning. The tour was completely free and was actually pretty quick. At the end of the tour you can sample some of their brews for free. I chose the black and tan and my bf the Oktoberfest, both are really good choices : )

Brendan, the tour guide, frat boy liar and giver of full disclosure, in the intetest of informed consent; Maureen, at the register, and all the staff on hand were hilarious and fun. The best tour of a business I have ever experienced! These folks are very professional!

Nice tour, stairs involved and some outdoor. Go early in the week so you can see the brew order process. At the end of the week you may only see maintenance. We got to see the old brewery area. We also got to see the new one and the lab. Samples afterwards. If you don't drink then you can have water or soda.

Having never been to a brewery we decided to go on this tour. The weather was a little chilly (by Florida standards) and part of the tour was under cover but open to the cold. We definitely should have had coats on.Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny making the tour very enjoyable. We started in what the old plant first and then made our way into the new one. The "tester" was in the laboratory and answered the questions we asked. At the end of the tour we ended back at our starting location where you could have 3 samples of the beer. (They also has water or pop for those like me who do drink.)If climbing steps if a problem... this may not be the tour for you.

We enjoyed this tour, in spite of the weather. A good part of the tour is outside, and it was cold (for Florida) and windy. So we enjoyed the inside parts more than the outside parts. Our tour guide, Suzanne, was excellent. She was well aware of the weather, and adjusted our tour because of that. We started out with the explanation of the company's history inside (I knew that Yuengling is the oldest American brewery, but I didn't know that it's the largest American owned brewery), and then we ventured out into the cold to walk over to the plant. We saw the older part of the plant first, and then went to the new part, and it was easy to see the difference. We went to the laboratory and talked to the head chemist, which was really the most interesting part of the whole trip; he answered a lot of questions. Then we saw the bottling/canning part. Then we went back to where we started to sample the product, and that was enjoyable. If you have mobility problems, this would probably not be a good adventure for you. There are a lot of stairs and narrow doors to deal with. But we really enjoyed this tour, and would be happy to take friends back.

Really interesting history about Yuengling. The tour is free and worth it. Our tour group was particularly large. Unless you stand right next the guide it it very hard to hear them. Plus that group had non-stop talkers who seemed to know everything and anything about brewing. We did enjoy our tour just not the group we were stuck with. You have access to the science/test lab, brew process and bottling areas. Seeing the mechanics of a working brewing was neat. We would not recommend this for young children or handicap persons. There are steps and uneven surfaces. At the end our tour we were offered free 3oz samples.
