Our second trip to Bar B Ranch. The first we had a custom ride for an hour and half that didn't turn out well. This time did the standard ride and had a good trail ride. We own are own horses but always enjoy trying different places to ride. People are nice and horses are well taken care of. Its out in the country but make sure your vehicle is locked and you don't have any valuables in plain view, we did not encounter any problems but the stories are true. Our guide was a young lady who was going off to college but she was very sweet and a knowledgeable guide.

If there is one word to describe this place it will be AWESOME! My friends & I came to ride horses for there birthday we were a little apprehensive at first but Linda & the owners assured us that we will have no worries and boy were they right. Everyone at Bar-B-Ranch was very nice, helpful, & had a lot of patience. If you're ever in the area or need something or somewhere to go this is most definitely the place hands down.

I love the Bar-B Ranch in Davie here in Florida, it is so nice and the people there are so kind and helpful. I hope you guys enjoy your visit as much as me, my friends, and my family did!

The people at Bar B Ranch are friendly and understanding. Whether you are experienced at riding or just a beginner, they have a horse for you. If you are experienced they will let you push the horse and even gallop a bit. Most trail rides I know of simply play "follow the leader" and lumber along slowly. The trail is green and beautiful. Lessons are available. Kids and adults who love to ride horses will not be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I went there to go do the horseback riding scenic trail. The trail was beautiful!!! When you get there you can see and pet the horses and then they teach you what to do and how to ride. I had ridden before but not for a while and my boyfriend had never ridden. They give you a horse based on your experience and how you are feeling. We went with a group of a total of 17 people. They did a great job of helping everyone and making us all feel safe and making sure we had a good time! The tour was not rushed and the people were very nice!! I would completely 100% recommend them!!!

What a great place to spend time! The horses are well cared for and the trail rides exciting yet not frightening. The guides are all so nice and know how to instruct riders and relieve any fears... This is a really great attraction that is not to be missed!

My granddaughter and I went on a private trail ride with Tracy. Not only did my granddaughter get to trot on Chief, Tracy took her for a fun canter and video taped it and sent it to my email. It was an amazing ride for both of us.

Loved every minute of our private horse back riding tour! Worth every penny. Came to Miami for spring break and so glad we checked this out. :)A huge thank you to Liz for such a fun time. You were so welcoming and thank you for your patience. Thanks for all the photos too! :) (Liz went out of her way to make sure we got several great photos of us on the horses. So kind!) Both of us had previous riding experience. It was sooo appreciated Liz that you gave us so many opportunities to cantor. Seriously amazing! The grounds were totally beautiful and manicured. Got to see Shrek donkeys too. Overall such friendly staff. You could tell that the staff cares very much for each of the horses. And we liked your approach to how you treated the horses - no crops and your approach to getting the horses to go/ begin walking. Tip: make sure you check out the cute puppy "Moo Cow" sleeping under the check-in table. We went on a Monday and it wasn't busy. Also loved that portions of the ride were shaded. I took my little 8 year old nephew to go on one their trail rides, unbeknown to me my little nephew had only ridden twice and with a lead. Before our ride our instructor gave us a review of the thing that we should and shouldnt do, problems we might encounter and how to about them, he was very thorough and incredbly clear. I made sure my Nephew was paying attention, when it was time for all of us to get on our horses , he first got on the horse but only a few minutes afterwards he was asking if someone would go with him, when we asked what he meant I could see the fear in his eyes and he said "someone to lead my horse"....at this point something happened that will make me love this place forever and bring my children here as well. Jason (I think one of the Owners) Stepped up to him, told him "he buddy its ok, the hardest part is getting on and you have already done that, now if i give you a quick review of what to do , would you feel better"....next thing you know we were there for an extra 10-15 min because he wanted to make sure my nephew felt confident and not scare (which would spoil the ride for him) he answered every question my nephew had. He was incredibly patient with him and I appreciate that so much because it made me feel better about our ride. (Thank you Jason for giving him the confidence he needed to ride on his own, a lesson that goes beyond horseback riding)

We were just at the Bar B ranch last week and had a fantastic horseback riding experience. The staff are so knowledgeable and made the scenic ride a wonderful experience for my family. They matched each of us to a horse that suited our abilities and personalities. They provided excellent supervision along the trail and helped those who struggled a little. There were opportunities to trot on your horse but if you didn't want to trot they respected that and helped you keep your horse from going along faster with the others. They even took pictures of all of us with our camera while we were riding. Overall, I highly recommend this ranch to anyone who is looking for a fun, relaxed, horseback riding experience on a beautiful trail.

When people I know are visting the Ft. Lauderdale, I always send them here for a fun activity. I am a horse person myself and own my own horse. Because of that, I know the Bar-B-Ranch is safe for everyone, even beginners. I have ridden here with non horse owning friends, when I know they want me to ride with them. The trails show old Florida and the trails even go past a farm where race horses are at. The guides take to time to show beginners what to do. The horses are all well cared for, and their tack fit them perfectly. Make a reservation, and enjoy the trails!

My daughter goes riding with these wonderful people several times per year. The trail rides are better than others in that the horses are not simply following the horse in front like so many other trail rides. The leader even allows more experienced riders to gallop along the trail at certain points. Some trail rides use horses that simply plod along behind the horse in front of it. These horses are more independent and each has its own personality. The staff is great and they make sure you will have fun. The price is less that most trail rides. Whether a beginner or an experienced rider they will tailor the ride for your enjoyment. Go!

My boyfriend and I did the trail ride and it was awesome!!!! It was just us two in the group and had a fantastic time and laughed a lot at our selfs :) the horse were great and the staff was nice!! Def. something fun and different to do :) a must do!!

This place is great for kids and adults who love to try out horseback riding, they also offer a great summer camp for kids. Even my 5 year old could get on a pony and be led around for 30 minutes or an hour and for the price of $15 for 1/2 hour and $25 for a hour, you can't beat this anywhere else. My 8 year old an I really enjoyed the 1 1/2 hour trail ride. The staff with us were helpful, skilled and informative.

I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a experience that we would both never forget. At Bar-B-Ranch we were able to have that. With the friendly and educated staff on horses we were able to feel comfortable learning about riding horses. The staff explains the proper way to communicate with your horse when you ride. While riding the trail the staff rides with you the whole way and always make sure each and every person is okay. The staff will answer any questions you may have and if you get stuck they will help right away. Over all the experience was great especially for beginners like us. Suggest to make an appointment before going and get there a few minutes earlier to check out the horses.
