great beer, I personally like the mixed beer selection. The "fruit cocktail" is pretty yummy. I like that there are so many beers to choose from and they have the alcohol content % for the beers on the menu. also you can read the description of the beer flavors too. great place to spend an evening before going out downtown.
It's really all about the beer, but you can order food from any of the restaurants within the Promenade. They hand you a book of all the menus and tell you to call whichever one you want and they'll deliver it to wherever you're sitting. On a night with a live band it's pretty much impossible to hear anything on the phone. Maybe if you had headphones it might work. Anyway, I found it much easier to just jump across the street real quick and order directly from the hostess. Probably much much faster than trying to do it on the phone anyway. They need some better system for the inter-business communications to make it more customer friendly. The beer selection is beyond excellent. I didn't get an exact count, but there must be nearly two dozen on tap and who knows how many other bottled selections. The prices are pretty reasonable, the music is great, the crowd is insane. Everything is loud--like live music should be I suppose--, but not deafening. We could carry on a conversation without needing to shout at one another. We got really lucky and got two seats right up at the bar. You have to show up early or get lucky when it comes to seating. Otherwise, you get sent next door to sit with the other uncool kids. I can't imagine how crowded it must be on a rainy night without the outdoor seating.
The very best place for beers in South Florida. Good place and service, good music also (even live music). Good location and area, the plaza is brand new and fancy people. They offer plenty of beers from worldwide. The only issue is the food, because they have to bring deliveries from next door restaurant. They serve just snacks. The best point is that you can change the beer if you don't like for another one.
WOB offers not just many beers, they offer you the best beers from the entire world and they teach you how to savour them and how to enjoy life!
WOB is the place for beer lovers. An endless choice of beers are available and the phone app is really cool. The range of beer will suffice your desire without question and you can order food from the local restaurants. They will bring it to you which is a perfect concept of business helping business. It does get crowded on weekend nights so go early but the crowd usually starts around 9 or 10 pm.
If you don't like beer definitely not a place for you. They have beers from everywhere..name it and they will have it.Not a place for kids or teens, good atmosphere and nice service. There is no food on the menu but you can order from any place around.Cold beer and nice music...I'm coming back.
Good selection of beer but way too loud and not enough seating. You can't hold a conversation and enjoy your beer.
I love the World of Beer (WoB)! This may possibly be one of my favorite hang out spots in South Florida. It can get pretty packed later in the week, especially if there's a game or something. Be prepared to listen to LOUD live music, this is probably the only downside to the bar. They don't serve food, but servers from different restaurants come in and serve WoB patrons. There's a little restraunt names "160degress Burgers Done Well," they make pretty good philly cheestakes. I recommend sitting at the bar, ordering a philly w/ sweet potato fries and enjoying brews from around the world. Cheers!
We are so happy WOB opened in our suburb. Great entertainment, drinks are cold and tasty, and amazing staff. I recommend the taster where you can get four shot glasses to taste their different beers, yummy. The earlier hours are more for the 30 and up crowd, after midnight the crowd changes to twenty-something. But fun for all.
"A Beer Lovers Nirvana" review pretty much sums up World Of Beer. The service is inconsistent. When I go at 3 pm and it's pretty calm they are on point but when it starts to pick up most of the time the young staff will forget me and I have to pray that I get eye contact with someone so I can get another drink. I was really annoyed one visit because it was busy and I had been waiting 15 plus minutes for a drink, this one guy was nearby cleaning the glasses and I asked for another and he just said, "I'm not a bartender" and walked away. REALLY??? I don't care if he wasn't but at least get the attention of someone who could get me a beer.....wow..I'm still shocked about that. If you get hungry you can order or do what I do, and just down a few drinks and then walk literally across WOB and eat at that Buffalo wings place....they are awesome. Full bar, great menu, good service. World of Beer has lots of beer choices and some wine. Don't worry about being overwhelmed because the extensive menu helps guide you. If it's a game night I promise you, that no seats will be available at sunset...... get there early and just wait for the game to start! OH! And don't be impressed with the name of the person on the chalkboard that's supposively had over 600 beers, I personally witnessed it, it's a woman with 3 friends and they go out all the time and drink. All the beers are put under her name. NOT RIGHT. She doesn't deserve that title. But that's another story...........
This place is a good choice if you're looking for a good beer. Lots of seating but it is obviously busy on the weekends. While they might run out of something they usually have a keg of something good to replace it. My biggest complaint would be that the bar staff always ends up spending time talking and messing around with each other while you sit there with an empty glass. The table servers are generally more attentive, but tnheir beer knowledge is pretty bad. Usually they "have to check" to see if they have something I already know they have. Understandable in SoFla I guess - not a big beer market...yet. They're trying and doing a pretty good job. Recommended.
World of Beer is fantastic! They have 500 types of bottled beers ranging in price from $4 to over $25 and 30 + draft beers that rotate out every night. They wait staff is great and attentive. The only problem is that this place GETS PACKED so get there early if you want a table. You can run up a tab quick so be aware! This is a great place to bring your friends, they have live music just about every night of the week, and beer specials nightly. They have different things going on each nigh, like ladies night, a dog themed "yappy hour" so bring your pooch! I've hosted a bunch of gatherings here and have never had a bad experience. This is by far the hottest night spot in the promenade! They don't serve food but the surrounding restaurants will deliver right to your tableside for free! If you are a beer lover, you will surely enjoy, and do not want to miss World of Beer!
