Thank you for your feedback. If participants drop their "brake", a heavy leather sleeved glove while accessing a phone or camera, they could not continue on the course. I am sorry we did not make it clear you could purchase a 6 X 8 picture for $5.

I convinced my husband to do the zip line tour and so glad he did! He is a little afraid of heights but gave in and took the tour with me. He loved as much as I did and after the initial training he felt secure and was good to go. We had great guides, Terry and Pete. They made a couple bad jokes that kept us smiling, made sure we were always safe and gave good direction and training. We were there when the trees were in full color and had a day when the weather was perfect. Out group of 6 guests made it through the tour in about 3 hours that "flew" by! So fun! We called our son and said we have to do it with him now! Can't wait to Zip again!

If you are looking for something to do outdoors in Southern Illinois this is it! The views are breathtaking. The tour guides are friendly and genuinely want you to have the best time. My work counterparts and I had a great experience today with SBCT. Awesome zip lines and beautiful scenery. Marc and Jose were wonderful guides and very fun. My team had a blast spending the day with them. Also I had a flat tire upon leaving and the owner Marc personally got on the ground under my car to patch the tire since my rental didn't have a spare tire. That is service at its finest. They definitely go above and beyond. I would highly recommend SBCT for an zip lining experience. Excellent way to build team moral and friendships for businesses.

This was our first ziplining experience and we LOVED it! Marc and Becky were awesome guides. They couldn't have made it more fun or more personal. Showing us not only how to zipline, but answering our questions about how the course was made and kept up. We recommended it to everyone we came into contact with and hope to be able to make it back ourselves.

These guys are great. The facilities are top notch, the views are amazing, the zipline is fast and the staff is safety-minded, friendly and fun. Our group of 3 decided to book it the day of because the weather was perfect outside. This could be done in any weather and you'd still have a great time. Honestly, I would prefer it to be snowing maybe. There's a perfect combination of short hikes and high-flying adventure to make it easy for all body types. They also use hand-braking on the zipline which adds a certain degree of skill to the experience. Very fun and highly recommended.

We went there September 6th and had a blast. It was a great group and anniversary trip with the couple that we was with. We was not rushed and after talking with others who zip line at other places. We made the best choice. If you have just a little bit of interest to zip line. I highly recommend it and this is the place to go. WE WILL BE COMING BACK.

Just zipped with Mark and Candy for the 3rd time and can't wait to go again and again! It's an amazing thrill ride, yet safety is their #1 priority. I've been 2 other places zip lining and SBCT is by FAR the best experience in all aspects. The guides have always been great. They are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and professional. I've zipped with family members from age 8-87. It's a blast for all ages. There are so many great things to do in Southern Illinois, but SBCT alone makes it well worth the trip.

Since you were here in October 2013, our guides take a camera with them on each tour and take some awesome participant pictures in the woods. We also furnish water for each participant. Come see us again as we now have the only traffic radar speed sign in the world on our longest zip line.

The experience of zip lining through the Shawnee National Forest will be one not soon forgotten! Mother Nature was very cooperative for this group to experience the thrill of zipping through the many beach, sweet maples and other fauna that enveloped our lines! What a total thrill to experience. Don't worry, though. You won't head out on the lines without full gear and instructions on managing the travel - especially with guides like Dave and Mike. True professionals with a personality! We were a rowdy bunch - in a polite sorta way - with them joining in the fun and conversation. Never a boring minute but ALWAYS with safety in mind. IMPRESSIVE! But, it wasn't just zipping! Touring through the forest included zipping over caves, waterfalls, a history of the land, petrified wood and even a carving in a tree from previous owners decades and decades ago. It may seem pricey at first - $85 a head - but it's a full 4 hours of instruction, camaraderie, zipping and fun; well worth the experience! May be the best $85 spent for outdoor fun in southern Illinois! Thanks again Dave and Mike for making this experience the best it could be!!

I decided to overcome my fear of heights for our 20th wedding anniversary as my husband was so interested in doing this tour. Dave and Jose were great, they talked me through my nervousness, safety was always first, we had a blast! I would do it again and recommend to anyone listening. Check in was easy, flight school prepared me, and our guides and group were the best!

Great time.,,, took my 10 yr old son for his birthday. ,, my wife is very scared of heights. ,,, she went with no problems. ,, they both were ready to fly again.,,, the guides are awesome. ,, safety first ,,,fun 2nd..., we had alot of 2nds..highly recommend.

We had a great time on this little adventure. You aren't allowed to take anything with you (e.g. cameras or phones) which is a bit of a bummer since you cannot take your own pics along the way but you can rent a GoPro camera from them and they take a few posed shots of you throughout and then you can purchase the disc at the end if you want (and one printed pic. of your choice). They also give you a bottle of water which is necessary on a hot day. If they could take at least one pic. of you in action on the line that would be great but I realize the guides are busy taking care of us and it probably would slow them down to where the next group behind would catch up…but still action would be great! Not always a fan of propped of posed shots. Some of the lines are so long you can't see the other end (awesome). Loved our one guide which can make your day great as opposed to just 'good'. Well worth the $ - experience was great. Thanks!!

Everything about zip line tour is first class. From the views to the guides is all professional. I will be back again in the fall. This is a must go and if your worried about safety don't they have that all covered.

My family and I spent a great three hours in the beautiful forest of southern Illinois on a thrilling zipline. The tour is very well run with a safety first attitude but that doesn't mean it is not fun. The guides were excellent and added some local nature information, as well as corny jokes, along the way. Don't pass this great opportunity up. Just another gem in southern Illinois!
