This is a clean, attractive theater and if you are looking for the top grossing films you will find them here. If you are looking for indie or art house films you will have to travel.

Carmike is a typical chain multiplex. Movies are expensive -- but probably cheaper than Chicago or the suburbs -- and so are the concessions...even if you go for one of their specials. Unfortunately, even though they have 10 screens, they only seem to show mega movies. For a university town you'd think they'd at least allow one screen for foreign/small/art house fare. Come Oscar season, they have usually shown very few of the best film nominees.

Everytime I go I definitely enjoy myself, the children have a ball but their candy could be a little cheaper than what it is but besides that it's good.

Nothing special about this cinema. Lots of teenagers loitering in the lobby. It was noisy. Prices are expensive.

Decent sized theater. They have a decent selection of movies, and prices aren't bad compared to many other theaters. Not always the cleanest.

I think there were about 10 movies showing there. The entry way is huge & brightly lit. On Tuesdays they have popcorn/soda specials. We went to a 1:20 matinee - $6.75. Clean & modern

This place has decent admittance prices compared to just 24 miles east. Always new releases with the option of 3D or not which I appreciate. Oh, and I love their popcorn selections even if it is way overpriced. Having a Carmike rewards card is a great benefit for frequent attendees.

Way too expensive and the last two movies we saw there we only went because we were given gift certificates. Not affordable for a family of 5 to go. And don't bother getting any snacks! The staff is rude and the previews for both movies were over 40 minutes long and I am not exaggerating. When we complained to the staff about how hard that is for kids to sit thru that time, we were shrugged off.

No other theater in the area so we went here while on a weekend retreat. 2 adults was $17. If we would have had popcorn and soda's it would have been another $20! Next time we'll take a dvd & get soda and microwave popcorn and watch it in our hotel room!
