Plan to spend quite a bit of time browsing around this weird and varied shopping experience! We had a good time just poking around looking at the weird and wonderful things people were selling. Ended up making some utterly unplanned purchases, as I think most people will here, but also found exactly the item I was looking for (a window frame for an art piece). If you want something unusual, this is a good place to look.Tip: if you want to get a bargain, make sure you have a good scout about even if you've found what you want - there are many of the same/similar items with radically different prices. It's worth a hunt around for the best.
This is a huge second hand/antique store. There is a lot to see and sometimes they have special events in the space next door. Normally it's a gun show, but sometimes they have a concert. Pretty neat place. AC too which is nice.
Neat place. Gun shows are kinda weak. Lots of vendors. No negotiating which is nice. All items are marked. Pick from multiple vendors and pay up front.
We enjoyed this although a lot of the booths were empty or almost empty. There is A lot to see though and we were able to buy a couple things we were looking for.
So much to see. Nice snack bar. Clean bathrooms. Easy parking. Wheelchairs inside for those who need them.
I can't remember a time we walked in here that we didn't walk out with a great find. My husband and I visited every week and always found something we were looking for. They also have many great events that you can enjoy!
There is a little bit of everything here and it's all at great prices :) From old to new, great condition to projects, you'll find it here.
There is a lot to see at Front Porch of the South if you like old stuff. Give yourself a couple of hours to walk through and find yourself a treasure. Parking can be congested at times so best to go during the week if you can. Highly recommend.
It's a flea market, garage sale, thrift shop, a few antiques, some crafts...you just have to look around and see what's there. That's the fun of it! Given that there isn't that much in the way of shopping in Columbus, esp. unique shopping places, this is a fun afternoon.
I love this place BUT when they are having shows in the back building, like gun shows, there is no parking and its a madhouse. I checked their calendar and there was no mention of any shows so we drove for over an hour only to get there and it was impossible to get in. So if you are planning on going there I recommend going during the week and also calling ahead to verify that there are no shows going on that day.
There are antique "malls" all over the pace, maybe with a coupe of dozen booths. Here, after 200, who's counting? Well organized, it's a shopper's delight. Booths come in three different sizes, and lanes are clearly marked. Plan for two to three hours, otherwise you're just reading the sports pages by glancing at scores.
You will need to allow yourself at least an hour to get through all of the booths. I have found so many bargains here and visit at least twice a month so I don't miss anything. Definitely worth a trip or two.
