the beach at clayton county international park

I have been a season ticket holder for several years. The Beach is a refreshing oasis in a busy bedroom community just south of Atlanta. The staff is friendly and helpful, the park is clean and well cared for, the perfect spot for fun in the sun!

We had a family reunion at the VIP Complex for the banquet and the St. Vincent picnic area the following day. Although it rained, the night of the banquet and the day of the picnic, the entire experience was excellent. The staff was very accommodating the entire time and during the picnic, the staff emptied trash container frequently. The BEACH is close to the interstate, restaurants, and hotel. I highly recommend this area to have a safe and fun filled reunion.

My family bought the season passes and we used them a lot. The Beach is just a few minutes from our house. We visited it at least once a week this summer. The lifeguard staff was outstanding. My son loved the slides. The different bands on the weekend played a variety of music to keep everyone entertained. I look forward to spending a summer at the beach next year, too.

I visited this park years ago when they first opened and it took years for me to return because when I originally went, my family did not have fun. We went there this past weekend and we were wowed! The beach was more developed and sectioned off where the older people were on a separate side from the children. They built a huge water slide and also a kids play area. A live band played and the concession stand was open. I did not purchase anything so I can't attest to how the quality of food was. While at the park, I saw flyers on a lot of summer activities being held for free. I will gladly take my family back.

Our children had a wonderful time. They loved the kid pool just for them. The life guards really pay attention to the children our there. We try to get in the beach water but they didn't like it due to the sand were getting in their water shoes etc...So we mostly stayed in the kid area. I did try the frozen lemonade which was good and my husband had the cheeseburger & he stated he didn't like. Will go again!!!

They added a lot of more features like more slides that were extremely fun and great customer service

The Beach on Hwy 138 has added several new water slides and completely renovated the Lake - swimming area... Well worth checking this one out with the family... Summer will be here soon.. Great place to spend the day with your family and friends..

Please do yourself a favor and skip this place, but if your on TripAdvisor looking into this place something is already wrong lol.

We went for a birthday party, the children loved it. I can't wait to go again. Not living close to the baech you could not have asked for more.

Government sometimes get things right, other times not. It is not as clean and vibrant as it once was. County government should not be in control of such a gem, as they are expected to make admissions so affordable that ANYONE should be able to visit. Unfortunately, low balling admissions also means that you do not have the financial resources for upkeep and better planning.Great place to visit if you really want to get out of the house.
