What would you like to do? Boat on Lake Oconee, golf on your choice of three course, take a few hours at the spa, hike, bike, swim or eat delishious menu items. All the are available at your fingertips, and this is a beautiful place to enjoy all of these. Tip #1 try the swing on the enormous swing nestled in the tall pinesTip #2 check out the concerts on the lawn, followed by fireworks...memorable!!

We have been visiting Reynolds Plantation since the early 1990s and moved here permanently in 1999. What a great place to call home. The people are wonderful and the amenities are world class. The golfing, boating/fishing, dining, and cultural events are amazing. We never want to leave.

Reynolds Plantation is the name of the area that you can rent a condo, house, or cottage and enjoy the amenities provided. Make sure you check to make sure the amenities are provided. There are LOTS of restaurants both inside the plantation at the clubhouses as well as the Ritz. Do not discount all of the restaurants around the area such as Filet, Cafe 44, Blue Culina, Smith's Coastal Grill (in Eatonton), Bone Island Grill, Cuscowilla, Richard's Wine Bar, and the Silver Moon - no sign on 44 (make sure you go before 5:30 on the weekend or you will have an hour+ wait). The lake is large and the golf courses are exceptional. Enjoy the view from the restaurant on the lake at the Ritz with an expensive beer or drink...worth it.

I love this resort! This is such a beautiful property. The Christmas light decoration is simply amazing. They offer ice skating and the kids can have hot chocolate and build a gingerbread house.

Each year, 16 guys get together for our annual golf trip, mainly visiting resorts in the southeast and Arizona. This year we took a chance on Reynolds Plantation and I have to admit, I was a little skeptical since none of us had ever been there and most of us never even heard of Reynolds Plantation. I can honestly say we were all extremely impressed with the quality of the National, Oconee and Great Waters golf courses. The greens had to be rolling at least an 11 on the stimp and tee boxes and fairways in immaculate condition, to go along with incredible views of Lake Oconee. The staff at all three courses very friendly and the dinner at Linger Longer Steakhouse was as good a meal as I have ever had. We are already planning a spring getaway back to Reynolds!

The accommodations and service were excellent. The golf courses are fantastic. The food was mediocre and expensive. I would rate it as follows: Accommodations - A; Golf - A+; Food - C.

Lake activities on Lake Oconee - fishing, boating, tubing, skiing - Too many great golf courses to name but we played Great Waters and it is well worth the visit. Several top quality places to eat plus movies and shopping - and the little towns nearby are a great day trip.

This is a gated community with 4 golf courses and 4 club houses. I visited my cousin and was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the community. The clubhouse meals were fantastic. I would go back just to have the spaghetti served at one of them. There is much put on by the community for the entire families entertainment.

I booked a cottage in marina cove with 3 other couples and we didn't want to leave by the end of the weekend. The facilities are in pristine shape from the landscape to the restaurant. All the employees were extremely friendly. Rented a pontoon boat and a couple jet skies and really enjoyed many activities on the lake. Can't wait to be back!!

Great courses in impeccable condition with green fees including cart at $159 per person - well worth it.

My husband and I booked the Reynolds Plantation at the last minute on July 1st for two nights. We arrived at noon on Wed, July 2nd and was immediately shown to our room. A little small but well appointed. We had a balcony but very limited view of the grounds. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was nice with the walk in shower (small) and separate tub. It was booked to capacity because of the holiday weekend, therefore it was very hard to eat at the restaurants as they were very small. Highly recommend making reservations. Wed evening we ate at Linger Longer Steak House and it was excellent. You get Cotton Candy on a stick at the end of your meal which was an interesting touch. Our waiter even gave me some to go and I ate it the next night watching fireworks. Lunch by the pool was good and the breakfast buffet was so delicious. We used the spa facility which was very nice but I have had better massages. We rented a pontoon boat for an hour and went around the lake looking at all the beautiful homes. On Thursday afternoon and evening we sat out on the back porch and just ordered drinks and food and had the perfect seat for the concert out on the lawn and then the fireworks display which was amazing. They offer S'mores at the fire pit every night also. A beautiful setting for a short getaway. We do not golf.

If you love golf, this is the place to be. Six golf courses, Lake Oconee and wonderful people. There are golf cottages to rent as well as boats for the lake. Something to do for the whole family!

We had never heard of Reynolds Plantation nor Lake Oconee before my parents booked a lake house for our annual family gathering. What a great place! No, we don't play golf, but if we did, it would have been an even bigger bonus (I think there are 6 premier golf courses on the lake). We simply hung out on the dock, jet skied, waterskied, tubed, boated with Boating Adventures of Lake Oconee (they are THE BEST!!!), jumped off a huge rock, ate great meals at local restaurants, visited historic Madison and Greensboro nearby, shopped at the local farmers market on Saturday and walked and biked. We could have stayed another week! The weather was awesome in mid-June, the stars and moon were beautiful at night, the water temperature was SO refreshing. We will definitely be back SOON.

Four of us made a trip to Georgia for the 2014 Masters tournament and scheduled golf at the Reynolds Plantation Great Waters course beforehand. It began raining about the same time we arrived in the morning. We went to the first tee box, lightning flashed nearby and they blew the horn to get off the course. It is important to note that their policy states that no refunds will be given unless the course is closed for an hour or more consecutively or if it is closed for two hours or more cumulatively. The rain continued to poor down, we witnessed more lightning and thunder, but very conveniently they blew the horn to resume play 45 minutes after the first horn blew (note one hour consecutive rule). The conditions were dangerous, the course had standing water all over it, and even the head pro said that the conditions were unplayable. Nonetheless, they would not issue us a refund. We protested via letter and recently received a rain check good for one year. They know full well that we do not live in the Lace Oconee area and are not likely to be able to use these rain checks. They have refused to provide a refund. Keep in mind that, because it was The Masters week, the green fees were essentially doubled. The folks at The Reynolds Plantation are clearly much more interested in money than they are in good public relations. I will never consider golfing (or staying) at this resort again and will gladly make the same recommendations to all of my golfing friends.

My husband I spent one night here for business/pleasure. The Linger Longer steakhouse had wonderful food. The rooms were plush and the cocktails were outstanding. I enjoyed the spa which was extraordinary. The hotel was full of families for the holidays and they all appeared to really like the ice skating, s'more roasting, and all of the spectacular decorations. We will be back!!!
