Don't waste your time. There is just the usual junk for sale and precious little of that. Dusty and dirty and hot.
Visiting Ellijay is a GREAT idea, so many wonderful shops, and great places to eat. For a weekend or a weeks vacation I would recommend a trip to the north ga. Mountains in Ellijay. I have to now give the down side of a visit, if you visit the web site for the Ellijay marketplace, you may want to put on some knee high boots because the owner has shoveled it on deep. Most of what is on the site is not there or closed, the store part is junkie at best and the auction is good for a laugh if you are unfortunate enough to have 4 flat tires in front of in and have no other choice but to go to it. The only upside to this whole operation are the women behind the counter, without them the doors would have to close . This is only my thoughts, judge it for your self and please write a review!
Didn't have enough time in Ellijay, GA, to see all of the unique and wonderful antique shops. The ones we did visit were wonderful.
Spent a week last weekend. Sooooo nice. Great town to walk around. Spend some time and some money here. Keep it in America folks !!!
What a mess. I have no idea what place they advertise on tv, newspaper, internet because its not the place I was over the weekend. There were about 8 tables fill of junk no food to buy or fresh produce. Just some short dirty creepy grey headed man who nagged you to sign up for things your interested in buying of of we had items to sell. To top it off my pappy went to the auction on Monday where he said it was nothing but items thrown in a box. He said the people were rude and standing around making him desk uncomfortable. They should gave kept it a lumber yard.
Such a fun day out for all ages. Art, food, handmade items, flea market to die for.
We had a great time, there were bathrooms inside through what I was told would be the art gallery! and tons of tables with all kinds of stuff on them some tools, some were garage sale type stuff but most of them were all kinds of collections, bought some great comic books, and glassware! We can't wait until their auction coming up!
Ok you see all of the tents tables and people. I park and walk around and see nothing what is stated in the web site. I have seen better flea markets. No crafts or food. They need to clean up the place. I must say the stage is best looking thing there, I wonder what kind of events they have there? Owner need to go back to the drawing board.
This Marketplace/Adventure Park is nothing more than a glorified garage sale. There are only a couple of artists & a dozen tables with garage sale junk. There is no food available to purchase! No farmers market! No adventure park! Only a nice guy running a small tubing company in the back. And the portolets (which is the only restroom option) were filthy! I drove almost 2 hours to visit this place & was very disappointed!
