college park municipal golf course

Great little course, good price, good greens. It was easy for us to get on right away and not too snooty either. We were looking for something fast and not pricey. We found it right here. We were told it fills up on weekends though.

It's an old 9-hole muni, with a reasonably decent layout considering the tiny parcel of land it's shoehorned into. Unfortunately, the greens are in such poor condition that I found chipping a better option than putting. Regardless, the new owner seems engaged and appears to be committed to improving the conditions and said he was also adding bunkers to the course that currently has none. See full review on tips golf tips on the web. On the plus side, the clubhouse is reasonable and has a newly added pool table, there is a driving range and a small short game area. Additionally, there are a multitude of discounts and the rate to walk at twilight was less than $10. It's only about 5 minutes from Atlanta Hartsfield airport, so if you need to hit some balls either before or after a flight, it's an option. Those learning the game or on a fixed income may find it a reasonable alternative, but until conditions improve, I wouldn't recommend those who are looking to refine their short games play the course.

I play College Park Golf Course every weekend. The new management improved the golf course. For the price, it is not a bad golf course.

This little gem is a short cab ride from ATL and area hotels. The staff is accommodating and friendly. For $17 I walked nine holes including clubs, balls and tees!
