Whenever I go here, the sunset is different and beautiful in it's natural colors. During the tourist season, it can get too crowded but we have managed to be there long enough that in the end, we could enjoy the beauty of nature on our own. Romatic and lovely place to take a walk or just sit and watch the sunset.

Off season it's a very nice spot for just sitting and enjoying the view without lot's of tourists or take a hike along the cliff.

Vertical cliffs down to the sea, roped climbers, picknick tables, wonderful view. It is breathtaking at all times, but mostly so in the evenings.If you are interested in geological features this is a place to experience Silurian limestone cliffs, carved out by successive Baltic Sea stages after the latest Ice Age.

Best views over Visby and the harbour, just a bicykle distance from town. A bit uphills but certainly worth while. Don´t go to close to the edge of the cliffs, though.

It's rather easy to drive here because there's a sign leading here . There's a free toilet at the parking space . I'm afraid of heights so I dare not walk down the stairs leading to another place . You can see beautiful views above from here . Locals come here too , they took the ferry from the mainland with their car to drive here . It's windy and lovely to chill around with some picnic tables and chairs around for you to relax

I always try to visit Högklint when in Visby. This time we also walked a bit on the hiking trail but the view from the cliff was the best.

This is a beautiful sight. Easy to get to, walk, bike or car. It really is a cliff, it even feels a bit spooky if you adventure to the tip but you are rewarde with spectacular views of the surrounding Baltic sea, Visby and boats and ferries sailing by. From the cliff you can walk along the path that leads along a cliff ( but safe), it goes through forrest and you get views all along. After about 2km you can climb down to a pebble beach, fun to play but not suitable to swim. We liked it a lot. You will get great views and the hike is not demanding at all, I can recommend it to almost anyone. Enjoy.

Högklint is a cliff overlooking the coast between Västerhejde and Visby. The area has spectacular views of the ocean and the coastline. There is a walking trail to the south where you can visit a number of smaller caves carved out of the limestone by erosion, and always lined with wildflowers and diverse plant life.

Amazing views, It is an easy bike ride to this reserve. One will appreciate the natural defence this provided the city of Visby. I suggest you do this after you have spent some time in the city, as you get an idea of the scale of this medieval walled city, and what the builders acheived.

An easy drive from Visby, we have been here in all seasons to enjoy the spectacular views towards Visby and along the coast. Easy parking, restrooms at the parking lot. Most tourists stay near the lot and enjoy the cliff views. I recommend taking the walking trail and walking farther south along the coast. Also, just south of the main cliff there is a set of steep steps that brings you down to shallow limestone caves. The main trail has some wooded sections along the cliff tops, and eventually leads to a little fishing harbor with the typical Gotland fishing cottages. The trail farther south can have tree roots, so watch your step, but it isn't strenuous, and stays quite level. Unlike American attractions that have safety fences, this trail expects that you use common sense. Keep a close eye on your kids.

When you are in Gotland you must not miss this scenic view just ten minutes south of Visby. This part of nature was a Nature Reservation around 1917 in order to protect the area from being built with houses.

Ställe man skulle kunna vara timvis. Man kunde njuta vattnet, naturen, solen. Ta härliga promenader med hunden, njuta klippan. Mycket mer. Fantastiskt. Trevligt att gå ditt oavsett vilken årstid det är.

Magisk plats som jag alltid besöker när jag är på Gotland! Egentligen är kommentarer överflödiga, åka dit och bara vara är det motto som gäller!

En fin plats att åka till för att njuta av utsikten och komma bort från Visbys trängsel under de mest besökta veckorna. Kan blåsa en del.

En av de finaste platserna på Gotland - väl värt ett besök! Underbar utsikt och trevligt att promenera, äta picknick. Lätt att ta sig hit från Visby.
