delos public tours

The tour we took during our visit to the island consisted of one guide and a large group trying to get close enough to hear. Due to the location we had a windy day which I think would be common and hearing our guide was next to impossible. After about 30 minutes our group of three couple asked about getting the boat back and then did a self guided tour. Save yourself the frustration and just purchase th eboat tickets.

The island is very small and dead - no greenery, starving cats. What ruins are there are hardly worth the cost and time would have been better spent elsewhere. There is a small museum that somewhat redeemed the visit from a total waste. Sorry I don't have anything more positive to add.
