是以弗所绝对的标杆,无数人来这里就是为了一睹其芳容。经过漫长岁月依旧保持精美的轮廓,虽然现在是已经修复后的,但是仍可以看出当年的风采。
Not sure why this is listed as separate from the Ancient City of Ephesus since you have to go to Ephesus to see it...and there's no missing it once you get it. Breathtaking, goose bump inducing site both when first seen from the Upper Agora and when you get right up to it.
This is the best restored building in Ephesus. Though the books are all destroyed, it is quite amazing to see the library as it would have been in its heyday.Do spend 10 minutes here seeing all the pillars and arches carefully, and spot a number of interesting inscriptions.
A 2000 year old library. A beautiful building. Those Romans are amazing and this was not even in Rome. Restored using mostly the original material in the 1960's and 70's.
They are reerected nicely. Its impressive. It is a part of Ephesus ruins. Everything inside is really spetacular.
A must see site that is impossible to miss in Ephesus. The original library was destroyed but the restoration work looks very impressive. Great for photos!
landmark, must visitgo visiting in the early morning or late evening is good for taking pictures !!
its truly amazing to see what's left of the ruins..can't find words to described such an amazing experienced.
I can't imagine the splendor of this building when it was in use. It supposedly held 10,000 scrolls!
If the Terrace Apartments are the indoor highlight of the city, the Celcius Library is the outdoor highlight. What is there is not that large from a surface area but what remains is special and spectacular.
This is one of the great ancient libraries, and it's extremely well preserved. It's absolutely stunning, and you can really imagine how it once looked when the people of Efesos frequented the place, and the streets surrounding it. Don't miss it!
Loved everything about the Library of Celsus. Sat on the steps to the entrance for quite a while taking in the spectacular view. The statues outside makes you want to be a part of that historical period. The building is also very well maintained.
You can catch glimpses of this as you walk down the main road, but once you come up close it is just incredible. If you hang back far enough you can wait out the ebb and flow of tourists and get a great, stranger free photo. Walk though the facade to the back. There's not much back there, but walking through it gives a sense of awe that you can't get just by looking.
The Celsus Library stands erect and commanding attention. She tells of a time when such importance was given to literature and to learning. She is a beauty that captures you and makes you take a breath as you catch her first glimpse walking down the main street of Ephesus. Take your time to admire this library and all of its intricate details.
Its an unblieveble magical Ancient art in the middle of ephesus.everyone sould go and she the best and book with best company
