The rumors say that the devil appeared there and made a foot print on the rocks. There is nothing to see there, only a little hollow. But the view. It is exra ordinary. You can watch Ayvalik and Cunda and all other small islands of Edremit Gulf and the big island of Mitilini stay just a few strokes away.

Yes, incredible panoramic views over rthe lovely peninsulas of Ayvalik of Lesvos island, Edremit golf, the shore and Ida mountain at the northern backround.

I have never seen such a beautiful view so far. We took a lot of photos from the top. My wife was a bit nervous about the road but it was fine as well. You need to drink a bottle of beer there or have a rich breakfast in the morning watching the splendid view, bays, sea, islands.

While returning from Mytiline İsland through Ayvalık,we have driven to this important and famous spot, and tried to enjoy the magnificent scenery as this is the best part of the area to watch at the sun going down.Strongly recommended to go there to see this beautiful event, but pls go there a little bit early as you may have problem in finding the parking place for yr car.Stay away from the cafes and small shops as their price level is very much high.

The view is excellent. Parking is a minor problem, because if you get closer to the restaurants then parking is 5 TL. Otherwise, you can have a coffee or so and enjoy the spectacular view.

The sea and islands view was nice and the beer was cold. You can enjoy these. However, there is nothing to see about devil:) The lava stone that they call devil's footstep was surrounded with a lot of litter. The restrooms were also dirty. Would I recommend? Well, may be...

8 km away to Ayvalik and easy to go by car.your can enjoy the sunset view with a great scene. Take care about traffic jam

Nice place to see the sunset and has a view to both the sea (where the sun will be setting) and the city of Ayvalik. It's better to get there by car, but if you don't have your own transportation, it is still possible to get there. Here is the steps:1. Take a bus toward Sarimsakli (bus no. 5, if you are not sure, just ask around. The local people are super nice and helpful). 2. Tell the driver that you are going to Şeytan Sofrası(Devil's table), then the driver will let you know when you should get off. 3. From the bus stop, it's 2 mile walk: 1 mile flatand 1 mile uphill. There are bars & restaurants there, but you can feel free to just watch the sunset by sitting on a rock nearby for free.

Ask for a beer, sit and watch the great view and sunset. Its amazing... You need a car to reach up. If U have time its worth to visit. There is a restaurant up there and the prices are reasonable. I did not care about the quality of the service since my wish was just to see the view. Hope U like it too.

You cannot get any better view of the islands and the sea but I cannot say the same about the restaurants which are poorly managed.

ReyDelEste

You should go there at dawn. You can take a cab or minibus to there from the center. If you're in Ayvalik and want to see more; try Cunda Island.

Our family is familiar to walking so we decided not to go by bus but on foot. If you start this tour from the center of Sarimsakli, it is 5km long, but there is shortcut from the Hotel Çinar and it is much closer. All the way you smell the pine trees, and the view is perfect from the point you start going uphill. Don`t miss to try the honey from the local salesmen by the road. And, at last, when you come at the top of the hill, there is wonderfull view of the archipelago, Ayvalik, Cunda, Lesbos, Sarimsakli... It is nice place to drink çay (Turkish tea) or coffee or to eat, but it is more expensive than Ayvalik or Sarimsakli. If you go at the evening, you can see the sunset, so don`t go if the weather is cloudy. We prefer morning, because it is not crowded. It is a must to make a wish, throw a coin at the "Devil`s footprint" and tie the handkercief.Maybe you`ll come again next year then...

Beautiful setting at the top of a long road with view all around. Fee to park but worth it for the views and the setting.

Very nice and quite place. The see view was perfect and magnificant. I reccoment it to every tourist who visits ayvalık.

Manzarası süper ve güneşi en iyi batıracağınız doğa harikası yerlerden biri ve Ayvalığın sembolllerinden biridir.Yolu bozuk değil ve yukarıda otopark vardır.
