Hiking across the Bukk is a challenge you will want to repeat. The winding trails, breathtaking vistas & pristine streams teaming with trout will enchant you. Pack accordingly, it will be a FULL day for a seasoned hiker. A walking stick may come in handy due mainly to the angles you'll experience and an occasional slick spot you'll encounter. Have a plan, a map, and a hiking partner that will compliment the journey. Be familiar with the route you plan on taking and let someone know your timetable, help and cellphone signal may not be readily available. With Lillafured on one end and Szilvasvarad on the other you can't loose. There are excellent cafes in Szilvasvarad featuring trout and wild game- close your eyes and just point at one on the menu, you can't go wrong. We hiked around Lillafured. Take the small train, check out the trout farm. The smoked trout was excellent. Nice hiking trails in the forest near lake Hamori.

A great natural area, just wonderful and the drives through are superb. Walking, just sitting looking at vistas. Whatever you want all nature is here. Got to be on the to do list.

Over 50 900+ meter-high hills, beautiful trees (and some long-time-no-change forests) and nature, most recommended.

Fresh "delicious" air and great sounds of the wind and waterfalls. Wanna go there again next year! A paradise for people who love animals, birds and amazing sky colours

Must feel the energy, no words can describe. The lake , creeks waterfalls clean and the smell f the trees is magical

By walk or by bicycle: get a tourist map for Bukk National Park. You will find roads and lots of path marked with tourist signs in different shapes and colours on the map. Choose your destination and walk or cycle or drive. Just two recommendations here: Javorkut near Miskolc city is a nice plateau (you can reach it by car also), a guesthouse called Sebesviz with good restaurant is there too. Enjoy a walking in the area and have a good food after that. An other place is Szilvasvarad a village on the north-west side of the park where you can park your car and walk or cycle or choose the forest railway to go in this nice valley. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Lipizanergestüt im Zentrum des Gebirges.Die Hirschbrunft kann man am ehesten um Bükkzserc erleben. In diesem Ort wird von der Fa. Stihl jährlich im September eine Sägeolympiade durchgeführt

Des arbres et des sous bois rarement vus. Si vous ne marchez pas, prenez la route qui va de Lillafured à Gere, les dix premiers kilomètres sont extraordinaires.

Проехали через парк на машине (в направлении от Эгера в Мишкольц). Дорога очень живописная, но для неподготовленного туриста – это все (не считая Lillafured, конечно). Нет никаких смотровых площадок, редкие информационные стенды – только на венгерском. Лучше заранее выяснить, где останавливаться и куда идти. В пути сориентироваться тяжело.
