Admittedly, the scoring is probably a little inflated because of the gorgeous scenery of Circuito Chico. If you go on this route, it's worth stopping by to see this little wooden church. I wasn't able to go inside at the time I went, but it was designed by the architect Alejandro Bustillo, an instrumental figure with immense contribution to the region (you can probably see his name everywhere!) The little flower garden is well kept and provides beautiful views of the church. The view from the church outside is stunning as you can see the surrounding lakes and, if you squint, Mount Tronador.

The best thing about this small chapel is getting there! It is just a fantastic trip along the coast boarding the lake with stunning view of the mountains. The trip covers 25 odd kilometers from the Civic Center and it is the penultimate bus stop of line 20, only line which gets there.Upon arrival, you will see the chapel standing above you. Therefore, you will have to go up very nice cobblestone stairs to reach the top. After you have recovered your breath, look back and enjoy the marvellous view in front of you, among others, Puerto Pañuelo, the small port of Bariloche from which all the sea tours leave from. When you enter the chapel, you will not be impressed by its size nor by its contents. It´s just a very nice chapel. And chapels are made to pray at, you if so choose. Go out again and enjoy the views on the other side: the great Llao Llao Hotel (many claim the most luxurious hotel in Argentina) the mountains and the stunning Cerro Tronador (an actively geographical volcano which has never erupted again) which has eternal snow because it is covered by 7 glaciars.)The visit to the Chapel is included in the Circuito Chico Tour.By all means, take this trip over to the Chapel and enjoy its surroundings.

It's a must to visit San Eduardo Chapel...cozy, simple, colourful, sorrounded by a beautiful landscape.

I had the chance to visit the Chapel and be in the mass, which was very nice. The paintings inside are very special. The views from the Chapel of the Llao Llao Hotel are the best as well as the mountains and lakes views. Very worthy point to stop and visit. Mass on Sunday is at 11 am.

The chapel is very small and the views from the hill are stunning. You can see the boats in Puerto Pañuelo. Its 25 kmfrom SC de Bariloche downtown. From here you can start the trial to Parque Municipal Llao LLao,walk in the woods, take lovely picturesand have a great lunch in the surrounding area.

This very nice wooden chapel, is over a hill at a walking distance from Puerto Pañuelo (the small harbour from were depart several boats to Isla Victoria, in the lake Nahuel Huapi) and from the Hotel Llao-Llao.The chapel is very small and definitely worth a visit if you go to that area.Views from that hill to the lake and Llao-Llao are really good.Be prepared for the steep stairs or if you have a car lead to the Street on the left side of the hill going up to the parking lot near the chapel .

An interesting historic little chapel and worth a visit if you are in the area. If you are staying in the centre of town with limited time I do not think it is worth a special trip of 25km each way. In my opinion, the Cathedral in the town centre is as interesting.

The small church dates to the first half of the twentieth century. It is located on a low hill at the foot of the Llao Llao hotel, a short walk away from Puerto Pañuelo, which is from where the boat tours depart). See the magnificent wooden roof, the stained glass windows designed by Argentine artist Vicente Forte and the frieze at the front painted by Raúl Soldi, the same Argentine painted who painted the dome of the Colón theatre.

No perdésela!
