what an excellent little museum! It will not take you a long time to go around, but allow a good hour if you want to take everything in. This is excellent museum design and tells the local story well and easy to understand.Great job and well done to the designer.

We were a bit disappointed with this museum. We paid the fee to go in but refused a guide as we like to go round at our own pace and the guide we saw accompanying other visitors was difficult to understand. We also understood that most of the text alongside the exhibits was in English as well as Spanish. This we found was not correct and we moved round rather swiftly.At the back of the main museum across a courtyard, was a second museum dedicated to the torture of witches and the Spanish Inquisition. It was a bit gruesome but it did make you understand the mentality around at the time. eg there was a list of questions asked eg what did you eat at the wedding? how did you dance?Outside were gallows and other torture devices. As this was more visual than the first section we did get something out of it. The first section we gathered was about the different civilizations that had lived in the area and how they developed.

Un museo chiquito pero con diversa coleccion de piezas de orfebreria, siempre me sorprende la habilidad, a pesar de la epoca y de los instrumentos que utilizaban, para manipular el oro.

Musé pas très grand , mais l'on est bien reçu. On peu prendre des photos, très intéressant et gratuit. ça vaut la visite.

Lleno de historia de los nativos de la zona, y de Santa Marta en general.Preciosas piezas de oro.Ingreso gratis ubicado en el centro de la ciudad

me gustó la información que tiene el museo para leer y mirar,sobre indigenas, encuentro conlos españoles,animales, vegetación todo muy interesante...para ver con tranquilidad una mañana, tiene aire acondicionado y una vista muy linda desde el segundo piso.
