规模比较小,创意性还行,注重文化因素,如有介绍和体验埃及,印度,墨西哥,还有日本展厅,竟然对中华文明没什么展示,和国内的大规模相比,这个只能算二三线城市游乐场所的规模了,
We just visited the Children's Museum. My kids really enjoyed the exhibits and the interactive nature of the stations. The passport stamps were a hit. Very VERY COOL place to visit. We spent about 3 hours travelling the world.Lots of IMAX options. Next time we will take in a movie.Visited March 2015

Excellent activity more than a museum. We took our 3-1/2 year old granddaughter for a day during the Christmas break. Only negative was a lengthy wait for food in the Bistro - certainly understaffed. Imax movie (at extra charge) on pandas was enjoyed by both adults and child. Museum in best suited for the under 5 or 6 year old - older children would likely find it uninteresting.
This is such a cute and museum for children. With your passport that you have to stamp at every destination feels like you spent the day travelling from one culture to another. You get to play and explore and do crafts or build like a builder. There is even a stage, role playing with costumes in 2 stations, playing with instruments. It is a safe place, there was security in several stations in case you lose your child. The size of the museum is a nice size, it isn't overwhelming and yet you have a lot of choices where you would like to spend more time. Get your own snacks, there is no café or food inside. But there is a Starbucks in the museum next to the children's museum entrance. You will need approximately 3 hours to spend there.
It is an amazing place to be on a cold day. Bring a child and have fun. You can also see a movie at IMAX cinema. WAWWW

Really like this museum esp. imax theater and the children's museum they put together for children. As a RECE I say bravo! The museum is educational and very interesting for all ages!:) At the same time I like the idea they have a Christmas market in the museum and the variety of Xmas trees they display from different parts of the world! I saw my tree from my country that is cool!
My kids love the Children's Museum. They get to play, learn and travel at the same place. Can be noisy, but its worth the visit.
We just finished our cross country trip from Charlottetown to Vancouver and this was my kids favourite stop (ages 6,4,2). It was so interactive and so fun. They played for hours. Try running a post office or painting a house or piping a sink and then explore different cultures from around the world. Well done!
It was not the first time and it is not going to be the last. If your kids are between 4 and 10, it is full of interactive activities. We went 3 hours with friends and there kids were so tired after that they slept all night untill 8 am....... Wow. The best reference are the fact that the next day, they ask to go back. It's free at the and of the day. Check the web site for the infos.
We toured the museum with our kids ages 4,5, 8 and 10. The 4 and 5 year old loved it and could've stayed all day. The 8 and 10 year old were pretty bored. They left and checked out the History Museum but found that boring too. This is a beautiful building on the water. It was beautiful to get a snack and walk outside the museum too. A must do for kids under 7!

Kids love it! And I too... some toys brought back many memories! A bit noisy for a museum, but hey, it's for kids!
I included the Canadian Children's Museum in my review of the Canadian Museum of History but I'll add just a few words for those who come to this page directly... Mostly for the under-12 set, this area is filled with interactive exhibits that help introduce young people to cultures from around the world and to the arts. The favourite for our crowd was definitely the theatre with a stage to act on, costumes to wear, a lighting board to operate, and a sound-effects machine to run -- everyone had a role to play in the production and we had to pull them away when it was time to leave.
