I hadn't been in for about a year, as it seemed to be the same-old-stuff. I was very pleasantly surprised to see new items on display, as well as the old-familiar, and the changes to the layout that streams people more effectively. A good representation of all the local groups starting with aboriginal baskets, and including the early Japanese, Chinese, Sikh, Scandinavian, and other European groups who settled in the surrounding area. The single staff person was very welcoming, able to answer questions, and some ideas for future changes. Its worth another visit!
If you want to see how the people lived back in the 19th century of Mission this is the place to go, along with the Mission Community Archives next door you can learn all that you need to know about the District of Mission, its growth, & its life with the Fraser River. Dating back to 1860's.
