sunnidale park arboretum

It is beautiful - well kept gardens and path. My doggie loved walking here and meeting up with his friends :) A lovely summertime, peaceful place.

We were looking for something to do to enjoy the beautiful weather and the trees that were changing color. This fit the bill. It is completely free with nice walking trails. Trees are labelled . We thoroughly enjoyed walking through this. It was well worth the trip.

This is one place that if you missed it, I'd feel sorry for you. The park has been beautifully maintained by some club or another (Gilda's, Lion's, Rotary??? I forget.). Often you will see couples getting their wedding photography done here because it's so quaint. There are many different types of trees, a pond, benches, and archways. It is a lovely place for a walk and great for viewing squirrels!

Wonderful trails to explore nature at it's best. Fall is the best season to explore the park. The best kids play area especially Zip line and lots of rides. Highly recommend for kids!

This is a lovely arboretum, and truly a jewel hidden in Barrie. Lots of walking paths through the wide variety of mature and stately trees, all of which are labeled. Some smaller features, such as a xeriscape garden, and a nut tree grove. Many exotic species from all over the world. A very pleasant walk in October, as the trees were beginning to change color.

Beautiful park. The arboretum was planned in the 70's and has grown into a gem of a place in the center of Barrie. Thank goodness for the foresight of the planner of the arboretum. All the trees are labeled.

As a photographer I am constantly looking for shoot locations. Sunnidale is always one of my go to locations. The gardens are beautiful and well tended.
