serenity beach

Unfortunately this beach is mainly a place for the local fisherman to drag their boat up on.. The smell is due to heat and rotting fish. Not the kind of beach you would go to relax in your swim attire.. Must understand this and appreciate it for what it is..

We visited this place in the morning around 8 am with kids. It was much cleaner than auro beach. Bit bigger waves and a nice sight as well. Played in water for a while, quite enjoyable. No sign boards to find this place. It seems there used to be something called Banyan beach resort which closed down. Now it is called Serenity and I saw some resort called serenity nearby. If you are coming on ECR road out of Pondi, once the four lane ends, come about 300 odd meters and there would be a small right turn. I would rate this best among the beaches in Pondy.

Was once upon, quiet and relaxing, now has become a commercial hub with buses of crowd BUT besides that, it is the only beach where you can swim without being troubled "much", with surfers, surf lesson, you will often see volleyball players and people with their own beach games as well. The seaview cafe and lounge are excellent addition to it.

I was not far from here. This place is beautiful and relaxing. They offer many therapeutic sessions and classes

Visit this place for a calm and peaceful evening! Not too far from the city and on the way to Auroville :) THis place during sunset looks amazing. If you are a nature/beach lover you would luv it. There is nothing much available at this place. The sea here seems to be much more stronger than else whr in Pondi. However, there are some rocks on this beach which goes a little into the sea. Sitting on these rocks and watching the sea get more and more aggressive as evening is slipping and nyte to follow is such an awesome thing to do here! The rocks are a little slippery due to the sand on them. Jus be a little careful when ur gng up on them :) and ul luv it here.

We visited this place based on the spots highlighted in google....No facility at the beach... its just NO man land. Secondly, the cut from main road for this beach is so narrow that no one can imagine that this can be the way to such highlighted spot... We went in the evening..and just came out in 15 mins...We cannot take bath at this place as water depth is too much...NO facility to take bath.

This place is a lovely beach with no swimming restrictions but still strong under currents. A little dirty in places but full of small fishing boats & a couple of local restaurants on the beach front

good beach to spend quality of time .Near to the city .but we cann't go inside water because its not safe .

Beach was very good, nice wind & air. A cool breeze will change your mind! and the seashore is other highlight which you cant get in Promenade beach and Auroville beach.

Great Beach with plenty of stuff to do and has many resorts on the shoreline to cater your needs.There are plenty of restaurants and other resorts and guest-houses to chill out for sometime before you resume to plunge into the water.

Its good! Very few people. Beach is near a fishing vilage away from the french colony area. Autos would charge about 300 to reach there. Tide is strong so swimming is not advised there by the locals as well.... nice area to just sit and enjoy wacthing the waves!!!

Average beach. Nothing to do just visit and see. They should maintain more cleanliness there. More facilities should be provided.

Calm,clean and beautiful.Best time to visit- Early morning.There are huts available right on the beach. For those who want to enjoy and click the sunrise, it is a good idea to spend a night or two here.

Its the least explored beach in pondicherry so obviously it is clean, and just like the name goes the beach is serene. Go visist tis beach before it turns out to be a dirty one like the so called Rock beach of Pondicherry

It is a clean beach with lots of activities. Hotel, restaurants are there. SPA are there for relaxation.Bay of Bengal is roaring, nice.
