I never knew that there are so many kinds of oysters and conchs and star fish and cones and what not. I mean this gentleman has single-handedly collected so many specimens from all over the world. It's an extraordinary effort. Must see.

Had read about this and really wanted to go there. We actually delayed our departure from Diu to be able to see this too. Unfortunately, we coudnt get to see it as the place was closed, even as we waited for some time. we had doubly checked the time in our guide book and the web, but it seemed like timings had changed since then.The reason i rate this high is from the pictures i saw and the pure uniqueness of the concept. I wish i knew of this earlier, and i would had it been more famous, and one could have planned the trip in a manner to put it in the itinerary too!

Sea shell museum is a rare example of total commitment of One Individual. Capt Devjibhai Fulbaria,during his looong career as sea-man, collected sea shaells from around the world.Colorful,variegated collection.Located it while on morning cycle trip.Went in the afternoon. With Modest entry fee of Rs 20,it was a kaliedoscopic view of secretions of sea animals.

One can plan a visit to the Seashell museum on the way to Nagoa beach. The place is close to Diu Airport. It is a huge personal collection of various types of seashells which is quite informative.

though from outside it looks dull but has the best and the rarest of the shell found across the glove ... and you can feel the inside sea life ...

Came here time ago, But theres still a lot to see and buy too , theres a great big collecting of shells from large to small.

We could not go through each and every Shell in detail as we would have wanted to. But overall an amazing collection by an Ex Merchant Navy Captain from around the world. Must visit, but with ample time at one's disposal.

This place is one the the greatest and biggest personal collection of shell from all over the world by Capt.Devjibhai V Fulbaria. The sizes range from pin head to an elephant head. Capt. interest and passion is visible in the way he talks and has organized the exhibits. The charge of Rs. 20 is really worth the 2 hours u can spend here.

It’s ok if we see it once, no need to go again, by seeing this we can know what they used before and can know about Portuguese culture, but need to see at least one time

One man's personal interest and hobby has yielded a good attraction. Captain Devji Bhai's collection and tagging is a very good one, with a range of sea shells and some animal specimen. Good to visit.
