I have been attending Linganore Winecellars Summer & Fall events since 1989 & can honestly say they have been the most enjoyable & best value for your money that I have experienced in that time

Our first visit to Linganore was on Valentine's Day for a wine tasting & pairing. They gave us a brief, interesting tour, followed by the tasting. The tour guide and server were both informed and helpful. We hope to return in the summer for one of their outdoor concerts.

The staff was friendly and personal, and the tasting was well presented and described. 10/10 will be returning.

Linganore Winecellars is a great place for a picnic. You can go and have a nice tasting of wines then purchase a chilled bottle and head out onto their grounds for a picnic. The kids can run and play on the grounds. Of course, we also really enjoy the wine there. They have many sweet wines but I am a bigger fan of their reds. Additionally, I really like the May Wine and Chocolate wine. Delish!

On the grounds of Linganore Winery this new Farm Brewery has a great tasting room, good snack food and great beer.They offer soda or hard cider for those who do not enjoy beer. The Linganore Winery taste room is steps away if you want to try the wine instead. My husband and I tried a flight of 5, enjoyed all of the beers. Local hops help to make the beer even better. We enjoyed everything about our visit!

This past Sunday was my first trip to Linganore Winecellars. I had heard about this vineyar since they have a carribean and reggae festival 3 times a year. Well this past weekend was their Holiday Open house of sorts. A 16 wine tasting including both reds and whites as well as vendors selling handmade crafts for the holiday. DELISH BTW! Upon entering the vineyard you come to this lovely barn. It is just lovely. We walked through the vendor section and purchased quite a few gifts. Then we went back downstairs to begin our tasting. Full disclosure, I am not a wine drinker, but I do enjoy time with friends. We tasted and talked and tasted and talked. I enjoyed myself so much and enjoyed some of the wines too that I even purchased a few bottles...some for me and some as gifts.I would highly recommend this vineyard and certainly can't wait to come back for one of the music festivals.

We have been going to the winery since the mid-1990's and enjoyed every moment from sitting by the pond to walking virtually every inch of the property. The wines are consistent, good and reasonably priced. We will continue to go as long as able. It is a wonderful place to spend time.

Five of us visited Linganore Winecellars in early November. The weather was too chilly to hang outside on one of the many picnic tables available, but inside were had a delicious tasting of 12 wines for $5 each - a great deal After the tasting, we participated in a small tour of the winery itself, with explanations of winery operations, how the wine was made, a history of the winery, and some insight into how the winery is going Green. Overall, it was a great experience with a delicious assortment of red, white, and sweet wines. One of the owners (a trio of brothers) is opening a brewery about 50 yards from the winery - will definitely be back to visit when it opens!

Five of us made the very scenic drive to Linganore this past Sunday and we were glad we did. The very reasonably priced wine tasting provided an excellent overview of the wines they produce. We were offered 12 samples that went from very dry reds, to very sweet and fruity wines. We even tried some mead. We also were given a tour of the wine making process that was very interesting. We left with a few bottles to share with friends. I would recommend visiting this very fine Maryland winery. We'll have to return to try the soon to be opened brewery operation.

Awesome wedding at a beautiful venue. The staff was very kind and responsive. Wine was great, this was truly a great venue for a wedding.

Wow has this place grown over the years. They have wine for the sweet and dry lovers, red, white and everything in between. Great venue for their music and wine tasting events.

I started going to the wine festival last year and have been 3 times..the festival is from 11-6..if you are setting up tents which I would highly recommend I would get there early by 10..you can bring coolers w/food and non-alcoholic beverages...bring chairs and blankets...they do have food vendors there but the lines are pretty long..bands are great everyone has a good time..even though the band stops at 6 you dont have too leave they encourage you too stay and sober up..the wines are pretty good..my favorite is indulgence which is infused w/chocolate im not a sweet wine drinker I usually prefer reds the sangria blueberry and BlackBerry I can drink..i tried nectarines for the first time and that was good too..will definitely be going again

Buy your ticket online, dress cool and comfortably, arrive early for good parking and a great seat on the open lawn. Then set back, relax and enjoy. Even if you go alone you will make new friends!!!

Even thou this is one of Mary land's largest wineries it is very friendly and personable. Staff was very helpful and talkative which something you expect in a winery. Just wished they had some dandelion wine to purchase, but not a deal breaker.

We went last weekend and enjoyed 16 tastings for $5. We personally like their wines...they tend to run on the sweeter side. For $5 more, they'll add a pairing plate (cheese, pepperoni, etc) to go w/ the wine. Nice location in the MD country side. They are building a new tasting room, which looks much bigger than the current room, so I guess look for that in 2015.Suggest you go w/ a group - purchasing 12 or more bottles will save you 15%. Prices are reasonable. Note: They will also let you buy a bottle to drink on premise. Some folks looked like they packed a picnic lunch and were making a nice afternoon of it!
