I have been racing at F1's junior league for 7 years now and every year i see the staff get worse and worse. When I first started racing there it was fun and the staff were extremely nice, now most of the staff have a cocky a-hole attitude and do NOT care about who races there they only care about getting money.

Recently has 2 friends turn 30 with a week of each other so a group of us went to F1 Boston as a way to get together for the occasion. It was my first time going there and it was an absolute blast. We got to try both indoor courses and they both offered a unique challenge, Everyone in the group had a great time. Everyone who worked there were great, and at the end of the race they give each racer a personal print out of all there stats from the track (Average Speed, Lap Times, etc) which was a lot of fun to compare with everyone afterwards. Only advice would be to do more then one race if you go, especially if it is your first time. We originally planned to do only one but when we were done it went by quicker then we thought so we signed up to do another one.

We walked to F1 to eat and the food was good, but average. I had the French dip with truffle French fries. Both were good and plenty of food, but nothing special. The service was good. No one was on the race track the night we were there.

Very spacious an also a very freindly welcome.This is a non touristy kind of area so the staff here found our English accents quite novel.there are some very upmarket cars on display here, we didn't eat but our last night in US the beer went down well

Went on a group (business) outing and had a blast! "B" as he said to be called gave us a great training of the flags, warnings and suiting up. The cars go up to about 35 mph and the track we were on had some hills and tight turns - was alot of fun! At the end, B gave us our race results and the winner did a victory lap. They have dining and a bar area for hanging out afterword. Highly recommend for a group outing -

The day of my birthday I went to F1 Boston to race. It was FREE because it was my birthday. I went with my boyfriend and it was a ton of fun even though he lapped me 4 times! I'm a fast driver in a car but when it came to these fast go-carts I just couldn't handle the corners. It was fun trying though. We felt like real racers putting on our racing helmets and gear. I can't wait to go back again to try to be better!

I purchased a Groupon for F1 Boston as a birthday gift for my husband. The only negative is that my 17 year old couldn't join him, as you have to be 18 to drive. He had a blast...and we will be back when my daughter turns 18.

F1 is a very interesting place. It's primarily a "Formula One" go cart track. There was a lot more going on there, though. I went to F1 for the first time for a bachelorette party. 16 of us went through training and suited up in race car driver suits, balaclavas, neck collars and helmets. I never realized that race car drivers and astronauts have a lot in common. We divided into two groups, raced two heats and then had a final race for the championship. Although they said drivers would be penalized for bumping other cars, I quickly realized they weren't enforcing that rule. I got bumped a lot! It was great fun. About F1 - there were other things going on, including a medium who drew a huge crowd. There were limo's and busses in the brimming parking lot when we left. Interesting place!

Went for a corporate event, an hours track time with 5 races. Was fantastic. Friendly staff, and even the safety briefing was fun. The carts were all well looked after, and racing round the track was awesome fun. I'd never raced anything before, but I quickly got used to it and racked up some reasonable lap times. After the races, we had food in the restaurant. Good menu, and great food.Would definitely go again.

Decided to try to avoid the crowds so we went to the indoor venue on the early evening of Mother's Day. The operation is very well organized and focused on safety. Being our first visit we viewed the mandatory video and received a little more instruction while suiting up in our protective gear. If you're even slightly claustrophobic you may have difficulty with wearing the tight fitting balaclava and helmet, but it's there for your safety. Everything went smoothly and we were seated in our karts in no time. There was just the two of us in our heat which was a perfect way to be introduced. It was definitely a great time, a true adrenaline rush, but I left with an overall impression that the organization may not be spending enough time maintaining the equipment. As soon as I pulled out of the pit I could feel my kart pulling extremely hard to the left. Once you're on the track there's basically no way to stop. I thought of pulling over and signalling for help, but I figured I would just be penalized on my time or on my number of laps. I had to wrestle with my kart the entire ride to keep it from pulling me hard left into the barriers. Made the best of a bad situation, but it was definitely not as enjoyable as it could have been. Asked the tech if the karts were supposed to do that and all he would say is it's just from them always turning left all the time. That doesn't really seem like the right answer to me.

I surprised my husband with a trip to F1 Boston. I had purchased a package on Living Social and thought this was something he would really love being a racing fan. He had a fantastic time! First, everything is very well organized. Your license is checked to ensure you are a legal driver, and they make it very clear that no one will be allowed on the track who seems to be "under the influence" in any way. There is a safety video, and track personnel go over all of the safety rules prior to allowing you into a cart. You put on a racing suit, a neck brace, and a full helmet with visor before racing. The track has lights to indicate the status of the track as well as personnel all around the track watching the action and waving flags as necessary. The track personnel allow you to have fun, but they also hold to the rules and will send a driver into the penalty lane if a major rule infringement has been spotted. This ensures fun racing for everyone! They also "blue flag" slower drivers to allow faster drivers to pass. These blue flags are mandatory, which again, keeps everyone running to their best speed (fast or slow!) and having a good time. At the end of the race there is a print out of your lap times and your average speed for the 15 laps. My husband did 3 sets of 15 laps. We were set to purchase one race in addition to the one purchased with Living Social, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out he got one free for his birthday! Having 3 sets was great. The first set allowed him to get used to the track, and the next two allowed him to improve on his speeds. After the racing was completed, we also had some lunch in the café associated with the track. We enjoyed sitting there watching the racing while eating. Overall, we had a great experience!! I enjoyed watching him race, and he loved being on the track. When we have a chance, I will certainly take him here again for a special occasion. I might even try racing myself sometime!!Suggestion: Definitely call before you go. Many companies rent out the track for corporate events. During these "private" sessions, there is no open racing. Therefore, you need to be sure there will be plenty of open racing when you want to be there. If you are willing to pay in advance, you can make reservations (at least on Friday and Saturday if I understood them). Also, as much fun as my husband had, it would have been great if there had been friends to race against on the track. Next time, we may try to plan a group event.

Definately something to do. Not bumper cars at the amusment park. You put on a nerdy racing suit & helmet, get geared up nice & safe...go over rules & safety & take a very short spin around the track. Is it worth it? Probably not. If you ask a guy the answer would probably be different. I'd rather spend time/money/driving fake race cars vs. time/money/shopping (or eating) any day. They do have a good place to eat in that note. A small "gift" store & what reminded me of the Daytona 500 area...lots of car stuff. All in all...go on a date.

I had the pleasure of organizing my cousins bachelor party for this past weekend. Everyone wanted to do the usual paintball, drinking, etc. We wanted something different. We had a blast at F1. It was awesome doing to beat time laps. Made it fun in between each race. We grabbed some appetizers and beers at Ascari while comparing everyones results. We didn'tstop talking about the racing the rest of the night. I hihighly recommend.

Did 4 laps here with a work group. What a BLAST. Can't say if the price was reasonable since I didn't pay for it. And getting to the boonies out here from the city during rush hour - bad idea!

My 10 year old daughter attended a race camp for kids. I cannot say enough about Matt, Mike and the rest of the staff. They were great with the kids and very informative. The kids got their fill of racing and found it to be a lot of fun.
