arkansas river valley visitor center

This is a must visit if you are not familiar with the Arkansas River Valley. Learn everything from geology to major attractions. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The center was very hands on and nature oriented. The bird viewing area was designed very well with an indoor/outdoor feel!

The visitor center is very interesting, and hands on information for families. The river was beautiful. Drive down to the little park area, walk out a small path and then be prepared to see a great view of the river, rocks and "falls". Picnic tables, toilet and grills available.
