You can see it best from the road, it is located on the hillside above the train tracks. Obviously runs the best in the early season when the snow is melting.

This is quite a sight as I was able to see it from both the highway and the train tour which obviously you would get and appreciate it's beauty.

We enjoyed seeing the scenic Pitchfork Falls, which is 6 miles away from Skagway The falls superbly cascade down the canyon walls in different cascade segments. The total length of the falls is nearly 2100 feet and thus is among the world's tallest waterfalls.Pitchfork Falls also has a hydroelectric facility. The plant provides power to Skagway.We enjoyed seeing the falls on our the Yukon Highway portion of our Best of Skagway Tour when were were visiting in September. We have seen it before when we did a car trip from Skagway to Yukon, Canada.
