Average Food...Average Service...High PricesWe ate at the restaurant on New Year's Eve with a few other couples. First of all the server had to tell us about all the things they were out of and it was only 8:00pm. Me and my wife started with a cup of cream of asparagus soup. Unfortunately, it came out lukewarm. That was my first impression of the club. Also, the texture was terrible. I have had much better at supposedly lesser restaurants. I ordered the bone in filet medium rare and it came out perfect. It was seasoned perfectly and truly cooked medium rare. The risotto that came with it was also good. My wife ordered some kind of fancy pork chop. Hers was also seasoned well but it was cooked to oblivion. The bottom line with this restaurant was the soup coming out barely warm set a bad tone for the meal. Next my steak was good and my wife's was not. The entire bill was about $180 (which of course included a few glasses of wine and a few scotches) and it just didn't seem to be worth that. The service was polite but not fine dining type service and more Outback, TGI Friday's type. Anyway, I don't mind spending money for great food and great service, but this just didn't measure up to other places at similar price points. I wouldn't go back for dinner. Maybe, I'd give lunch a shot.

very exclusive, can play 18 and not see another soul....clubhouse is beautiful on a several hundred acre lake....food is excellent....

Golf course is awesome, but to play you must know someone who is member! Other courses in the area that is just as good.
