Old Fairview Cemetery is the go-to place for history or ancestory enthusiasts who want to research more about the historical figures and family members who shaped Eufaula as it is today. Notable families, such as the Shorters, Comers, etc. are buried here. Filled with incredible, huge marble statues and headstones representing the work of Italian stone cutters. Located on a bulff overlooking the river, it is a great place to reflect, enjoy nature and the gardens the people of Eufaula have carefully nurtured for all to enjoy. Me and my familiy all personally encountered a ghostly apparition on a visit there, so a great for you ghost hunters...just don't go at dusk, when they are most active.
