oglebay park good zoo

Our adult children came to visit us over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were looking for things to do that were inside and this fit the bill. Luckily for us, the weather was beautiful so we were able to go outside and see the sights as well! This zoo is geared more for younger children, but we still enjoyed our visit and will go back :)

This is the place to go if you love a zoo but hate all the walking. It isn't huge but the animals are unique and easy to see. For an added fee the animal encounters are something you will never forget.

we like to walk around the lakes. some times there are a lot of deer and geese around. this time of the year they have a Christmas light show sometimes there are long lines ( drive thru )

We expected it to be a small little thing, not many animals, ect but we couldn't be more wrong. There were real zoo animals, bears, ect. and the animals came right up to the window so we got a very close look

Fun little zoo right on the grounds. The trolley goes right by there and you can get off and on as you choose. A great option for families with kids or anyone who enjoys a zoo.

Animals you normally don't see at a zoo. Our grandson, who lives a half mile from the Columbus zoo and visits it often, didn't want to leave.

i have been here several times . on halloween you can go on the train ride . several animals to see and places to eat at the zoo. the fish are amazing to see.

This was by far one of the best experiences for my kid/grandkid. It was awesome from the minute we stepped in the door. We walked around outside and visited all the animals, which were actually out the lively. There were a lot to see as well. Lots of different varieties. Then we visited the indoor section with the hands-on activities, the model train room and the laser light show. Absolutely excellent! Would definitely recommend! Very reasonably priced as well.

Not many animals outside because of the cold and the animated dinosaurs were pretty far from the main building. Having two youngsters made it a little rough and wife with bad knees and hip had a very hard time walking around the place. Would have been nice if they rented all of the golf carts they had parked there

Amazing zoo for children of all ages. Activities are age appropriate, diverse areas stimulate learners at all levels. There is much to be learned and reinforced here. This is the type of learning center that begs many re-visits, as there is always something new to be learned. Great job setting this up!

So many things need updated at this zoo. Oglebay is a wealthy park but you wouldn't know it by going to their zoo. The animals areas and train need major updating. The only good thing about the good zoo is you week get a work out walking up and down the hills

The outside was lit up with lights of animals. Inside there was a huge train display and animals. Out on the back patio there were over 35000 lights(I believe) that flickered to music. Amazing!

We walked through the zoo along with the train display. Let's just say I enjoyed the train display better. Zoo is very small not much to look at if any of the animals are out. Train display ok don't buy any food her it is only snack food wait and go into twinto eat. This place is ok it's set up for small kids not adults. Best way to sum this place up is just average.

Went here for the Lazer Light Show and the train display in the basement. Food is available but it's hot dogs, etc. A small fee is required but worth it. I did not visit the zoo animals but have been told it's a nice zoo.

Our grandchildren would have enjoyed the lazer light show. For seniors it was pretty but a little hypnotic for those of us who were short on sleep. The train layout in the basement is a must see for all. Very enjoyable. Did not get to see the animals as it was a little too cold and short on time.
