timberline riding stables - private tours

Had a great time horseback riding up the mountain. The horses were well behaved and Christine our tour guide was very friendly, patient and knowledgable. The trail was very safe and the views were amazing.

We took a day trip to the area during Memorial Day wknd- specifically to ride horses. We decided on Timberline this time because we had never used them. We rented a home in Oct 2012, and it was nice to see them riding past the house on the ski trails.The guide came back with another couple while we were waiting. As soon as they took pictures and left, she immediately started talking about the lady that was riding. We could hear everything, and we thought it was unnecessary and very unprofessional. Made you wonder what would be said once we finished and left. The ride was okay. It was a beautiful day. We will go back to the other stables next time.

My family has ridden with Timberline Stable several times in the past year. It's family fun for all ages; young children to adults. You don't need to be an experience rider. The staff will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable on your horse. Safety is the main concern! Angie, head wrangler, her husband Matt and Cowboy Keith will make your ride a memorable one! Even their trusty dog Jake will go along on the trails. It is so much fun! The views from the top of the mountain are incredible! Make sure to bring along a camera.In the winter months, along with trail rides, they offer a horse drawn sleigh ride around the valley. So nostalgic and a great holiday tradition! Whatever it is you choose to do at Timberline Stables, the staff will do all they can to make sure you have a great time. I highly recommend a visit!!
