For my first time ever in Whitesburg, Kentucky, I was impressed with the uniqueness of the town and the different type of assets the town possessed. One in particular was Roundabout Music Company which had it's grand opening on the first weekend in June. The owners noticed that the town lacked a space where locals, of all ages, could come to find their favorite vinyl records in a laid back atmosphere. The music scene going in Whitesburg is starting to take off as many local bars have mic nights, showcase bands, and have places like Roundabout. The owners have a great vision for bringing music to the community because they see this as an opportunity that could not be found in Whitesburg prior to their grand opening. This is a place for avid music lovers but also people who are wanting to discover music from the past. They also sell a variety of instruments such as guitars and even banjos. Roundabout Music Company is just getting its feet on the ground, but this is a place you should stop into because it is on its way to becoming a big hit in Whitesburg. A must-see for all music lovers.
