I had the opportunity to visit Mill Spring Mill on a work related trip and was very impressed. The Mill is no longer in operation, but we were able to take a tour through the building and imagine what it was like many years ago. The mill is right on the water and is a lovely spot to walk the trails.

Looks like this mill was built many years back. It has huge wheel. It has nice and quite scenic view. which was so relaxing. It was historic mill. Definitely worth to visit.

This is by far one of the most historic, scenic, and serene places to visit in the Lake Cumberland Area. I have visited the park for many, many years and look forward to the visit each time. I went there many times during childhood, maybe for a picnic, a shaded walk, or for a drink of fresh spring water. Also,my 2 children loved Mill Springs wading in the streams, throwing rocks in the water or getting a snack from The Gift Shop. I suggest everyone to stop by for a visit and schedule a time to watch the water wheel in motion. It's a priceless experience for anyone! This is definitely a place worth the visit.CLDY BOWLING GREEN KY

This is a must see, it has a wonder waterfalls and a working Mill that grinds corn to make corn meal which they sell in the gift shop and many more Home made products. The staff are wonderful and informative, it's accessible by boat or by carGreat place to enjoy all the great history of this sight. We have been going to this sight for about 30 years and it never gets old. When our son was young we took him and he enjoyed just as much as we did, now he is taking his family.

World's largest overshot working waterwheel. Tours available and corn still ground into cornmeal. Area discovered by Daniel Boone and he thought it would be good place for a mill due to the 13 springs. Picnic tables, springs and waterfalls, public restrooms and a gift shop. The gift shop sells Kentucky Proud products and meal that is ground at mill. Delicious! Civil War historical site. Cornbread festival on Saturday before Memorial Day and Heritage festival on Labor Day weekend. A great place for all ages. My family enjoys taking photos here with the beautiful lake back ground. You can access this area by Hwy 1275 or by boat near Conley Bottom on Lake Cumberland.

If you are in eastern Kentucky I would recommend stopping to see the Mill Springs Mill. The Mill dates back to 1817 and is a working piece of history sitting on Lake Cumberland. The Mill is currently run on holiday weekends during the summer and is a very interesting thing to witness. Billy Brown gave a tour while I was there that was extremely informative and entertaining. You can buy corn meal ground at the mill at the gift shop. You can access the Mill from the lake via the boat dock or from the road. There are also picnic, day use areas and restrooms in the park. Beautiful views of the lake, streams and Mill make great pictures.
