Theatre was closed summer of 2013. When theatre was in operation the plays were very well done. It is a great loss to this area that funds were no longer available so this attraction could continue
Newspaper stated theater had lost funding . We had attended in the past and most of them were fairly well done.
I have seen many plays there in there in the pst 15 years and have never been disappointed. It is a very professional and talented groups.
The rating is for customer service, not for the play. The play was cancelled at the last minute, which we didn't find out about before arriving at the theatre. I had purchased my tickets through Smartix, and the theatre manager, Ken, assured me I would get a refund. However, I contacted them multiple times for more than a month and I still have not gotten my refund. In fact, they refuse to return my calls or e-mails! I was not upset about the cancellation because it was out of their control, but don't stick me with the charge for the unused tickets!
Opening night - actors very well cast but needed to improve on presentation of lines - several flubs. Expected more.
How can anyone memorize all those lines. Very entertaining. A small theater but can hold a couple hundred people. Nice and clean the staff very nice as well. Will watch the schedule and will go back. They are known for putting on great plays.
We saw the Floyd Collins musical when spending a weekend in the Mammoth Cave area and wanted to through in a little evening fun. I was expecting a little more. It felt much like mediocre community theater, it went on too long with just a touch too much yodeling. Some of the actors/vocalists appeared very talented, but I don't know that they had much to work with. It wasn't exactly bad, cut it definitely wasn't good either. We would definitely skip it next time.
Have attended several of these performances. Cast is often small, but what they deliver to the audience is fantastic!! Went and saw Lomabardi last night, I am not a football fan, but enjoyed this flavorful production. If you have the chance, give this small hometown theatre, that has seasoned actors from New York, and other great name Broadway cities, a couple of hours from your vacation to sit back and enjoy.
