Movieland 8 is NOT comparable to Regal / AMC etc, there you'll watch the latest and greatest movies and pay $13 - $14 per person to get in and then pay for all the extras on top of that.Movieland 8 typically shows movies that have left the larger theaters and are either already on DVD or very soon will be, however we recently went to watch "Big Hero 6" ( very good by the way ) and paid $7 per person AND with that you got a bag of popcorn and a drink...amazing value in this day and age.The facilities are older and it definitely has an "old school" vibe to it, if you're looking for state of the art facilities , comfy seats and an HD screen then this is the wrong place for it...go to AMC and pay $15 a ticket... but if you're dying to go to the movies and are either on a budget or just want to feel like you're back in the 80's and going to see a movie then this is the place for you.

As long as you don't need the latest and greatest, this is a wonderful value. Movies a few days a week are under 5.00 and have pop and popcorn combos. This allows for more movies out and a lot of savings!

You can see a great movie here and get a value pack including a popcorn and soda for 2, or sub the popcorn for nachos or soft pretzel all for under $15. What a deal. Half price on movie only on Tues and Fri.

Movies right b4 they go to rental. About $7 for a movie with popcorn and pop, or you can pay extra for nachos or pretzel bites, or a larger popcorn or pop. Movies are cheaper on wed and fri but the deal pkg price never changer, not sure why. Price for movie alone is $4 and cheaper on the other days. Very large nachos, i have seen the workers stuffing them in the container when there is no line for snacks, might need 2 cheese with it and def share one. Would give it a 5 star if they would upgrade the chairs but with the prices how can they.

This is not the newest of theaters but it was fairly clean when we were there. The cost was extremely cheap. What made it better was the $7.00 price for admission, popcorn, and soda.We will definitely go back when we want to see a 2nd run movie.

Large movie theatre in a large mall. Great bonus for travelers staying in the nearby Millennium Airport Hotel, Buffalo.

A nice night out at a local theater. If you decided to buy the special, which was popcorn, beverage and a ticket, it would still be spending less than at a first run movie theater. Personally, I would rather save my money and wait a few weeks to see a movie.

This place has great prices to watch movies and good deals on concessions. But the interior can do with an update. Seats are well worn, dirty, sticky floors, and a slight funk in the air. Bathrooms need some definite work as well. Depending on which theater you are put in the movie screens do show signs of wear and color or sound can be off. Saw the seats in the light when we arrived early for a show and it was rather disgusting to see how much dirt and grim was on the seats, I almost went home but my friends convinced me to stay, Once it gets dark you don't notice it but that image will stay with me for some time.

Great price, affordable especially on nights with specials, ticket and popcorn/drink enticing offer, good to stay on budget during these economically challenging times but to be able to "take the kids" out to a movie....or to see a meant to see movie for yourself....Staff pleasant, theatres could be cleaner....

if you're patient and can wait a short while to see a good movie - this is the place to save only $4 most days; great deals

So the movies may be close to DVD release, but for families on a budget whose kids like to go to the movies, this place is perfect.I think it's like $5 to get in but only $2 or something on Wed and Fri.

within a few weeks of opening, most movies make their way to Movieland 8 at bargain rates... projection is first-rate and the theater, while a bit shopworn, is well-maintained... best of all are Wednedays and Fridays, two bucks for all shows, all days, and big breaks on concessions, as well... the management here knows its way around... on the other hand, be wary of movies shown on screens 5 and 6, immediately adjacent to a railroad yard... at times, it sounded in "Lincoln" as if the Civil War were being fought with diesel locomotives...
