My wife and I never miss a show. Super talented people. We are looking forward to this summers shows!

I was not a big theatre fan or even musical fan at all. I'd prefer a blood guts and glory movie at home with some cold beer. My wife asked me to go to this theatre and I said yes in supporting her Christmas spirit. We went and saw "Winter Wonderland". At first I was like what the heck have I agreed too. Then I started to see how well the cast performed and actually started to appreciate their talents and the performance. I'm glad my wife asked to go to Butte Theatre because now I'm the one looking for their next shows in the future.

I take my wife to this nice little theatre at least once a year if possible. We enjoy the professionalism of all troop and staff and love the Cripple Creek area. The only sub-par seating (which is still good seats) is the very outside edge tables, other than that all seats are good. We prefer the inside edge tables so we can set our sodas down and have our own space with great viewing of the stage. Your party size may have you sitting in the row seating and holding your drinks as the tables have 4 chairs per. The "Thin Air Theater Company" puts on a show for the whole family and they'll have you smiling for about 2 hours. Go and enjoy, you'll be glad you did. No food avail just snacks, soda, beer, wine. They do have a gift shop as well. Their website provides all the info you'll need and make reservations. www.buttetheater.com/ Happy Holidays,

Attended the Thin Air Theater Company's Halloween melodrama ("Sherlock Holmes and the Cripple Creek Ripper") and Olio at the Butte Theater on Oct. 30th. As always, the production was wonderful, and the Olio a lot of fun. It never ceases to amaze me how exceptionally talented this small theater company is and what a great job they do with the various stage sets. They never disappoint! I can't wait to see their holiday musical "Winter Wonderland"!

The Thin Air Company is great. We'll be back. I didn't expect such a great show with a great cast in such a tiny town. I asked a regular if it was just the Sherlock Holmes show that was good and he said they are all as good.

We saw the show, Sherlock Holmes and the Cripple Creek Ripper. It was hilarious and the cast was fantastic!

I wanted to plan a "mystery trip" for my dear husband and our sweet neighbor who was celebrating her 91st Birthday. They both love Sherlock Holmes, so I thought the play would be just the ticket! Having never been there before, we were more than delighted with the gorgeous interior, still keeping the flavor of the 1800's. The actors were professional and great! Their voices were second to non. The play itself was filled with twists and turns, true to a Sherlock Holmes adventure. Overall it was GREAT! I left feeling joyful and lifted in spirit. We also enjoyed a special treat after the play, an OLIO. I had never heard of it. It was a musical tribute to Halloween, with zombies and witches. I don't normally celebrate Halloween, but this was truly fun and so well done. The entire audience was generous with their hoots, laughter, and applause. What pulled the experience together was the genius directing and keyboard extravaganza performance. We'll be back, for sure!

Small regional theater located above the forestation. Both the theater and the performers do a very good job. The bar on site is a big plus. I recommend a table seat vs a row seat if you can get one. We've gone up to catch a show a couple of times and they put on a quality show.

We have gone to a few shows here and they've all been very good with professional actors. They offer afternoon show times as well as evening for reasonable prices. Something different in such a small town.

We went to 2 performances at The Butte Theatre this summer and both were exceptional. The cast performed in both performances of different productions, and did a fantastic job. The voices were professional and engaging. Cripple Creek is best known for casinos, but this theater easily outshines the gambling venue for an evening or afternoon out. It is family oriented and inexpensive enjoyment. We loved the cast interaction with the audience. And the cast operates the intermission bar and snack sales. They also avail themselves after the performance to talk to the audience one on one. An absolute must visit!

Small & intimate venue, top talent from local and national sources, delivered with innovation and gusto. Have gone several times over the last 6 years and make it a point to go to a show whenever I'm in the Denver-Co Springs area. Inexpensive (typically less than $20) and you're never more than 75 ft from the stage. I sang in musical theater for many years and these are the best small productions anywhere.

Loved it! We spent the weekend in Cripple Creek and attended 2 difference performances. They were both excellent! Not sure how they do it, but the performers acted and sang in both shows! They were so entertaining...high energy, amazing voices! We will definitely be back for their next shows...my only compliant is that they don't offer season tickets!

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Theater to see "Guys and Dolls". I didn't expect to see such professionalism and I agree with clivepheasant's comment that this musical could be transported to Broadway or more with no change whatsoever. The entire cast was simply perfect in their role but Matthew Krob stole my heart. Tall, dark and handsome and what a voice to compliment Lindsey Bristol even though she does beautifully on her own! My son had also seen "Singing in the Rain" and said he felt that was even better than this one if that's possible. When I return to Colorado I will visit the Butte Theater each time. You have won my heart.
