Lazer tag is ok' games are 4 min long and the area is really tiny. 7.50 a game is a bit rediculous for 4 min-- went with the indoor unlimited-- that's your best bet for small groups. They should take out the base orentation, and make the games at least 10 min. Bowling is good, no complaints there.
We went here for a friend's birthday party and it was great. On Tuesdays, for $12 you get unlimited bowling, laser tag, and the non-coin operated video games. If you want to play games for tickets you need to buy tokens. For an extra $7 you can get unlimited go-karts, mini golf and a few other outdoor things (after 4pm only for the outside stuff). So needless to say it was a great value. And it was tons of fun. Independently, some of the attractions aren't that amazing. For example, the laser tag isn't the best laser tag you can find. The go-karts aren't the best go-karts out there, and the free video games leave a little to be desired. But, when you look at its overall fun value for the money, it really can't be beat.
The trick is to go on a Tuesday when $12 per adult covers most attractions and arcade games. Add another $7 and it includes the Bowling with shoes. The go-carts are fun and have 3 tracks depending on driver skill and age. 2 Miniature golf courses are ok but definitely smaller child friendly. The food is better than the kid pizza places (Chuck-E-Cheese) and have much better variety, but a little pricey. Large area plus private rooms for parties.
My 10 year old son took 12 friends here for his birthday party. We signed up for an "outdoor" party for $21.95/kid. It poured rain, so we changed to indoor. HUGE rip- off. $21.95 for 10 minutes of tokens, one piece of pizza each, barely any help from staff, laser tag (huge lines). First, the incompetent staff gave us 1/2 of the tokens we were supposed to get, and even when I discovered the mistake, the kids went through them in 15 minutes. For this price, kids should get unlimited games for at least two hours. Super busy, super noisy, HUGE rip off! Food is super expensive outside of the bday party pizza. Will NEVER do another bday party there again.
They called the cops on us for sitting at the table for 1hr and 15 min. We sat down at a table and a guy told us we needed to leave the table. My sister was at another table and she was there for over 45 min. So she moved and my family who had just got there sat down as new customers at the table she just moved from then I told the guy that I wouldn't move because I just got there and ordered a pizza and he went to get a lady whom told me that it was ok if we sat there but we only had it for 45 min, ok. Well, my sister at the other other table had gathered the kids for cake and then cleaned up her table and let someone else sit there some of the party came and sat at my table. So my husband and son go and get a pass and they play we eat and then here comes the same lady who had told us it was ok to be there as new customers had a police officer with her to inform us I had went 30 min over my 45min stay which is 1 hr and 15 min.. We were shocked, appalled and embarrassed as everyone was staring at us and the lady had said she told me repeatedly but it was my sister whom she had spoken with who had already cleaned up and given her table away as where I had just spoken to her the once not knowing I was being clocked from the time I sat down not even from the time I got my food or her other conversation she had with my sister that she would call the cops on me without even a warning. My son was devastated with only being able to do two things with his unlimited pass because of course we left after being humiliated. My sister on the other hand had stayed because she had paid over $200 for the kids she had with her to finish playing til the parents came to pick the up and the table we were kicked off from 30 min was still empty. Lucky for us we know how to use a video camera and recorded the whole thing. You can find it on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc.
Our Kids loved it! We will come back. We have been here before with the adoption Exchange. It is a bit expensive. We would need to stay for quite some time to make it worth the cost.
This place is a pretty good time. For a facility like this it is very clean and well maintined. They have minigolf, go-cats (all ages), lasertag, bowling and a video arecade. They also have bumper boats but I did not try that. We enjoyed all of the attractions we tried. I suggest going on a Tuesday or Thursday for cheaper admission and smaller crowds. The only real downfall was the waiting in lines which is to be expected but it wasn't very busy and wait times on the go-carts was still 30 minutes.
We took our kids to Boondocks. There were four adults and three kids. What a great time we had! The outdoor activities were a blast! We drove go carts on a regular track and a slick track and had fun in the bumper boats. Plan to get wet on the bumper boats! The atmosphere is great and the staff was very welcoming. Indoor activities include bowling and arcade games. The prices are somewhat reasonable. The arcade is expensive for what prizes you have to choose from. You can have birthday parties and corporate parties there as well. It was just a fun day of family fun! The best time to go is in the morning. By afternoon it's busy and lines are long.
Lots to do here for kids of all ages from Laser Tag, to water bumper boats, and 3 go cart tracks, plus a bowling alley, and lots of video games to collect tickets from and win trinkets for the kids. Oh yea, there is also miniature golf, and a restaurant.
We spent a Friday at the fun center with our two children, 7 and 9. They were allowed to drive the go karts , we played lasertag, bowled, soaked each other on the boats and chose our favorite video games. For $25.00 each and unlimited fun, it was a good value. It can get noisy and the food is not particularly good. We chose to have lunch at a local restaurant and come back. There are fun things to do for all ages.
It is a fun place to spend the day. Myself and a lady friend went bowling and rode in the go-carts in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. The weekends get crowded so I find it is best to go in the middle of the day on a weekday to avoid the crowds and get easy access to everything. Nice, fun place.
Watched the World Cup on 3 huge projector screens while we bowled. Food is expensive. Eat before you go.
Took a trip here with 8 adults, 7 kids and all had a good time! We particularly enjoyed the go-karts and Laser tag. Food is on the pricier side. Long lines for everything - but it was a beautiful spring day, and this is not Boondock's fault! Only complaint was the place we got food didn't have any hot dogs or Lifesaver drinks ready, seems like they should keep those constantly ready especially with lots of people standing in line for good.
Went on a Tuesday during spring break for the local schools which was a 50% off on admissions. The large parking lot was full. The lines were long and the kids got bored. Paid for the go-carts but they didn't get to ride them. Basically all the boys did was play the arcade games. They were kind of disappointed.
My kids have seen the commercials for this place and were fired up when I told them we were going. Both said afterwards "The commercial made it seem a lot better." We did have a good time and literally did every single thing there was to do at the place. We packed our lunches and ate them in the grill. Grill seemed way overpriced. The workers in the outdoor attractions looked bored, uninterested, unmotivated, and honestly I didn't feel like they could have handled any kind of problem. The bowling shoes are the best I've ever worn bowling before and I would say bowling was a very pleasant experience. Would I go again? Not unless they begged me and we needed to fill a day. Do I regret going today? No, not at all. We had fun. Pick a Tuesday or Thursday and get the twelve dollar deal.
