stables at gateway canyons

There were only three of us and the mountain.......What a great day of walking and light trotting with the horses in the beautiful suroundings!!!

Our ride was great, but what really made this experience stand out was Brian--the head wrangler. He is an honest to goodness cowboy. My husband could have spent all day talking with him, learning about horse husbandry, cattle, you name it. If you go to the Gateway Canyons stables and have Brian leading your ride, you will be in for a treat.

Riding horses was alot of fun. My horse, Jack, was the best. And I loved riding in a group. When I go back I want to ride my horse Jack again because he's a beauty.

I loved our tour guide Amy! My horse was Boomerang and he was small with attitude (like me) we were a perfect match. Took a nice ride up and down the mountain, great experience.

Amy and her staff run a first class operation. I was able to ride for 8 days straight and rode a beautiful horse each day. All the horse are well trained and were excellant on the trails. Since the stable has 500 acres, you have choice of fun trails to ride on. I love riding and it was a wonderful experience.

Amy and the gang are horse people at heart -- and it showed. I like all animals but don't favor horses over others. I felt very safe around the horses and had a blast. You are in good hands with the staff there.
