Awesome experience. I have four kids ages 11 through 5 and I wanted to find something that even our 5 year old could do but that would also be exciting for the adults. This was perfect. We got to go through some Class 3 rapids that kept it exciting but it was never too much for the younger kids. Our guide, Mark, has young kids of his own so he knew how to give us an experience that was safe but very exciting. We did the 3/4 Day and it was the highlight of our vacation to Colorado. When we come back I will definitely book again with this company.

We did the full day trip through the Bighorn Sheep Canyon and Royal Gorge on our honeymoon, and absolutely loved it!! Since we hit it in mid-June, the water was high and exciting. Nicki, our guide was absolutely amazing....personable, friendly, knowledgeable and in control, and did a great job of making the trip safe and fun for everybody. It was refreshing to be with other believers. You could see the love of Christ in the staff members faces, and they were unashamed of Christ, but definitely not pushy with their faith. Halfway through we stopped for a delicious lunch which they provided. All this with competitive prices is definitely hard to beat!We had the ride of our lives, and if we're ever back in that area again, we'll definitely be rebooking with JourneyQuest!

My wife and I are from California and were in the area to look for land to spend the rest of our lives on. We camped at Sweetwater River Ranch and the recommended Vessels for Honor (now Journey Quest) well, we had an afternoon 14 mile trip through the canyon and it was the most amazing time we have had in a looong time! From the beginning when Mark gave the safety meeting I knew we were in good (Gods) hands! We then met our guide for the trip, Ryan is an amazing young man, and an inspiration to anyone who is lucky enough to meet him! He is the youngest guide they have, it was his first year as a guide as he just graduated HS. But let me tell you, for an 18 year old man, I (and I'm an old fogey) he was a true inspiration. From the prayer he said before our trip, to the 'barking of commands' then apologizing for it (every time) and the info he was telling us during the trip, he made our trip that much more special! His goals and the things he's already accomplished in his short life are nothing but amazing! Thank You Ryan for an experience we will never forget! There are tons of Rafting companies on the Arkansas River, but we will be back and recommending Journey Quest everytime. (We will be locals soon!) I don't want to forget mentioning the guide in the other raft Cory! She as well is amazing! The smile on her face and the fun she had with us never stopped! The trip you normally take is one of our Bighorn Sheep Canyon trips, and yes, that is a wonderful stretch of the Arkansas River for the entire family. As a guide it is always exciting to see families building a legacy of faith together, and there's nothing like having 3 generations of a family all having a blast together in the same raft! These are memories that will last a lifetime.We even enjoy pulling grandpa and mother-in-law back in the boat whenever needed, even if they were pushed in by their loving family.
