rusty's tv and movie car museum

We found this place by googling fun things to do in Jackson. It exceeded our expectations! They gave us a tour and explained how they acquired all of their cars! My husband and kids had a blast!

The owner was so nice. Allowed lots of photos and talked about each of the cars with us and the kids. We will be going back. Lots of fun for a small price.

While on a cross country road trip, I found myself in Jackson, TN. Thanks trip advisor for the great reviews on this neat museum. As others have mentioned, there are some really great cars here that brought back so many memories of shows/movies I've seen over the years. This was one of my favorite stops on my trip. $5 is a bargain! When I arrived, I got the full tour from a great guide (so sorry I forgot his name - Randy maybe) who shared lots of interesting stories! After the tour, you are able to go back and take a leisurely look and the time to get some great pics! He mentioned that they would love to expand as Rusty has many more cars to show. I hope that happens, I would definitely stop here again if I find myself in the area!

Stopped by the day after Christmas and was pleasantly surprised! The outside made this place look like nothing special but the awesome collection inside changed my tune! I can't believe one man has collected these really cool cars! It was only $5 too! Worth it all around!

Found a flyer at a welcome center and thought it looked good. The guy took us around and he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He loves the cars and the history. Deceiving from outside, but great inside. He has a Dolorian and Paul Walkers cars from the Fast and The Furious.

I visited the museum and Rusty took me around and told me about the cars. It was interesting to learn some of the facts about the cars. He was very knowledgeable of all the cars and showed a lot of enthusiasm about having us in his museum. I would recommend taking kids to the museum they would get a kick out of it.

super nice guy, we weren't rushed at all, must have spent over an hour reminiscing over all our favorite movie cars. Very recommended

We had such a great time, if your in Jackson, make sure to stop by....You don't want to miss it !! Great for adults, as well as children !

My husband and I found a brochure at the welcome center of this hidden gem. Rusty's TV and Car Museum was a dynamic find and a pleasure to visit. We didn't quite know what to expect, but for $5 each we got a trip down memory lane. The museum was filled with cars from the movies and tv shows we grew up watching. Our guide was very knowledgeable and quite entertaining. He kept us engaged with his humor and "inside" information. The museum is off the beaten path but not hard to find. Well worth a visit if you like nostalgia!

Great place to visit, a real hidden gem if you have a love for movie and tv autos this is the place to visit

Thank You Trip Advisor for sending me the Destination Jackson Update or we would not of found this place! I emailed Rusty the week before we were arrived as we wanted to visit on a Tuesday and he was only open on the weekends. He was very prompt on responding and asked me to contact him the evening before so we could arrange a time. We planned on a brief visit as we were headed to the Smokey Mountains but ended up making in over an hour. Rusty is Southern Hospitability at it finest, he was so genuine and has a real love for the area and his cars. He opened just for us and showed us around then let us view everything at our own pace and we were aloud to take all the pictures we wanted. He told us a little history and even showed us a movie clip on one of the cars. I was shocked to learn that some of the cars are the real deal and others he costumed himself. What an amazing place! Its not to be missed if you are in the area. It was $5.00 a person to get in and its the best $10.00 we spent the entire trip.

A lot of what he has are actually original cars from tv/movies. It is a small place but worth the stop. Only $5 to get in. Very friendly people and they don't try to rush you through - they will walk around with you and give you some details and then you can spend as much time as you want in the place.

My partner and I visited on Sunday 3rd it was great. The guy at the door toured us around. He told us the history of the vehicles. Then left us to look around on our own. It was truly a unique and fun visit. I love cars and trucks he really doesn't but we both had a great time. And it's so clean.

Recently visited with my kids. 5.00 admission is a great value. I immediately remember the car from Starsky and Hutch. Kids loved the bat mobile and Scooby-doo's Mystery Machine.
