Decided to take my Honey on a little get away to Dover Downs. First time I stayed in there Hotel... Absoutely relaxing food was delicious, beds slept wonderful and the staff was just Customer Service Friendly.... Kudos....

Despite claiming to give you more they give less. Go to Atlantic City they will treat you right with promotions!

My wife and I have visited Dover Down Hotel and Casino three times this year. Each time was magical; the slots allowed us time to play; the hotel rooms were ready and very clean; the food was very good; and the whole staff was excellent. Right now this is our go to casino, P.S. We've visited this casino since it first opened and we're amazed at how well it been maintained. Spotless!

Nice large area, poker room, horse racing, will check ID. lots of place to eat. Children can eat at the restaurants on the casino floor as long with parents.

As with any casino you don't expect to win all the time. We are now 0-15. Don't play the slot machines. The payout tables are extremly low compared to other casinos outside of De. Where the same machines in NJ & Pa.Payouts are 3x's more for the same hits.Jackpots outside of De Occur far more often Out of the 15 + x's Not a single jackpot was announced or a hand payout was to be seen. They do hit better then That other casino down the road but the bottom line is you lose.Walking around the casino floor the slots have very little amounts on the meters 99% of the machines have less then $100.00 on the meters.I would suggest De.gaming commission (because the casino blame you guys all the time) take a trip to the Pa.casino's or NJ and watch how real slots hit with real amounts of money being paid out. Most people I talked to say they only bet $.60 a spin to make there money last. Didn't want to sit there all night with nothing to do.It's a shame because the place is clean and up to date.with good food.Some thing doesn't add up In Pa.the casino's have a 55% income tax on the slots and they put the machines in De.to shame. Casino seem to forget People like to gamble but we don't have to gamble.I think that is what's happening they are not attracting people like they use to. Tired of losing I would say. Good luck by the time you wise up the place will be empty and crying the blues blameing it on the other state Casino's. People will come back if they win now and then and spend what they won and then some. De casino's are a penny wise and a Dollar foolish. Don't blame the De. state commission loosen up the machines It would be nice to hear of a jackpot winner Before I die!

We go there quite often and always have a great time. The casino is safe and clean. They always have new games to play.

The slot games here was great. I enjoyed going to there late at night until 3am. It is more quiet and less people there at that time. You are able to move from machine to machine. I had wonderful fun. Love it!

For a totally rewarding time, visit Dover Downs...and don't forget your rabbits foot! You may not always win a jackpot, but it's clean, safe and full of a variety of games to play. The hotel has every amenity you can imagine.

Pleasantly surprised. Planned to dine at Michelle's but my husband decided he wanted to try the buffet..seafood was excellent, salmon was even better and Southern dishes were very good. Can't wait to return.

You don't seem to get as much play time at this casino for your money. I have done better at other casinos in the area.

I took my Mom who loves the casino. It was fun to see her really enjoy herself.. She could spend the whole night there.

Great place for a getaway. Casino is roomy...clean...great variety of slots and games. Hotel rooms are really nice......Nice to get a room with view of track to watch races...horse or cars. Nice selection of eateries if you don't like buffets, although we like the buffet. Staff in all areas are super nice and helpful.

It doesn't matter if you're in Dover or Harrington, the bartending services horrible. We usually go there to see shows or somebody in particular and not usually to gamble. I just can't imagine how they make money when there's at least 10 to 20 people in line or around the bar area waiting for a drink (ALWAYS). I too have left the fire and ice lounge to go outside to another bar to get a drink and come back, which is crazy!

This place was built with high ceilings, wide walkways, nice carpeting, and bright lighting. I live near another casino in upstate NY that looks like a warehouse. Dover Downs Casino is NICE. They have free soda vending machines and alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced. Bathrooms are well maintained and spotless. This place compares favorably to anything in Atlantic City. Of course Vegas is on another level. Great attraction for a small market.

Love the hotel, the casino and being with friends! The rooms are very comfortable and there are many restaurants to choose from. The place is unbelievably clean.
