This was a tour we booked the summer of 2013. I am a little late to review, but wanted to make sure I did, because this is what led to my love of paddle boarding. We booked an afternoon group tour…the guide allowed some freedom for us to have fun on the SUP's and yet to feel like she had our safety first. Her attitude was fun and encouraging. I loved the experience so much, we have purchased our own SUP and use it frequently in the ocean as well as at Assateague Island on the bay.

Had a great paddle board experience in the canal in Bethany. Saw lots of fish and crabs. The instructor was great well. Very patient with all of us even though we got there late.

The lesson and paddleboarding tour with Bob was excellent! We would recommend this without hesitation. It's a low-key, low-impact way to see a little more of the natural beuty of this area. I could not have been more pleased with DelMarVa Board Sports. Our instructor/guide was top notch.

A friend and I made same day reservation for first time SUP lesson. Clarke and Cindy were our guides. They were great - patient, helpful, and personable. After a 5-10 min lesson on how to stand, paddle, stop, and turn, we headed out on the Bethany canal.They adjusted the pace as needed and ensured each one of us was having a good time. The canal was a good location to start as a beginner because water was calm. There were no other boaters except a kayaker. Aside from being a little hard to find this location, and having limited parking, it was great.Will definitely try it again.

Great adventure. Clarke the instructor was very informative and patient in showing us the correct paddle technique. New equipment. Top notch business. I would use them them again for sure.

We got our teenage boys out of the house for a family adventure today learning to paddleboard...and they had a blast. Priceless! Jackson instructed us on how to use the board and paddle, he was patient and thorough. Will definitely rent from DelMarVa board sports again .

We had a great time - Clarke was our instructor and couldn't have been more patient and relaxed to help my 9 yr old son and I get the hang of it. It was a beautiful morning for us on the Bethany Pond and we look forward to doing it again.

We did a 1 hour stand-up paddleboard excursion at Delaware Fresh Pond. It was our first time doing SUP and we had a lot of fun! The instructors were friendly and provided good instruction. They also lent us some croakies for our glasses. The woman we made the reservation with on the phone was very helpful and patient with us to find us the right location for our first excursion.

My 2 teenage daughters and husband had a very pleasant paddle boarding experience with Will in Rohobeth.

I have rented a couple of times and had wonderful experiences each and every time. When it came time to get my own board I headed to Delmarva Board Sports to demo used boards. George was super patient, funny and helpful. He showed me a few new skills to practice, and guided me in the decision of which board was right for me. I never felt pressured or being "up sold." I've already had my 5 year old out on the board with me, he loves it too. Great experience and I highly recommend taking the tours. We'll be back for my next board!

Took two trips one was led by Mack and the other by Bob, both guys are very skilled and a pleasure to be with. I have SUP'd for several years but I still learned something new from Bob. My girls who went with me loved the location and the support from Bob and Mack Great time, highly recommended

Wow! What a fun way to spend an afternoon. A friend and I took an hour paddle boarding lesson. Our guide Jackson gave clear instructions and and supervised us enough so that we felt safe but not so much that we couldn't explore. George in the office was fun and accommodating as he made sure that we got our trip scheduled with little wait. I'm hoping next time I'm in the area to take a windsurfing lesson!

I decided to take my brother and sister and their friends all out for the first time and was so glad I went with DelMarVa Board Sports. We decided to go last minute and they were great at accommodating all 5 of us! Bob was our tour guide, and he was great! Don't worry when I say tour, it was more fun than structured! Next time we will be doing a daily rental!

DelMarVa came recommended by a friend and they delivevered. We were trying out stand up paddleboarding with our teen, but with two younger kids, were wondering how to do it. No worries! Kayaks are also available to rent by the hour, so our gang of 5 went out together with our guide. And it was just us! While I would have liked a few more pointers from our guide once we got going (surprisingly, SUP'ing is not hard to get the hang of), we did fine and enjoyed learning...as well as the pretty view from the bay.Everyone in our party had fun.

My 12 year old son & I have been wanting to go Paddleboarding all summer. We were referred to Delmarva Board Sport Adventures by a friend and called an hour before launch time and got right in. Bob was a great instructor, he was very patient with my son when he was having problems and made him feel at ease. I will definitely use this company again.
