Very under rated park. I say that because there was only one other person on all the trails when I drove through. This park has 9 free places to camp which are all private and very quiet. Skyline drive is the ‘main artery’ road which leads you through the tiny park. There are a few other small off road trails that snake from it, but I never tried them. The best way to enter the park is from the west, starting in Farmington.Directions:From Main street in Farmington you take Tekoa/Farmington Rd north for 3 miles and turn right on Skyline Drive. After that you take the first right, which is a mile down the road. The dirt road snakes up to the top of the hill where you can get great views of the rolling plains below. This section of road is probably the bumpiest, but is very easy to navigate. There are signs around the park to help you not get lost. The one campground in the middle of the park has vault toilets, the rest are primitive. It will take a little over an hour to drive through the park.If you are just looking to kill an afternoon or you are on a road trip, this is a very good spot to check out.
