My wife and I flew into Boise to watch the BSU-BYU football game and planned a wine tasting trip for the afternoon prior to the game. We decided on Huston Vineyards to start our journey and it was our favorite winery of the day. Greg shared great wine and stories with us. We really enjoyed his passion for wine making that came through in the quality of the wine and his journey to operating Huston Vineyards. Huston is a great ambassador for the Snake River Valley AVA.We highly recommend stopping by Huston Vineyards. It will be the next big thing!Thank you Greg.Scott and Laura

We are wine lovers from Oregon who were on a quest to find quality Idaho wines. Huston Vineyards gave us what we came for! First of all, how could you NOT stop at a winery on Chicken Dinner Road......hello! The owners were lovely folks who truly make the place very comfortable and welcoming! We shipped some home to hopefully share with our local wine store. We feel Hutson would be a great representation for Idaho wines!

This event at Huston Vineyards in Caldwell, Idaho had the perfect ingredients: a wonderful outdoor venue, unbelievable food, over-the-top wine and 40 strangers who became friends after the first glass. If you haven't been to a Huston Vineyards event, you are really missing something special. It was an evening that we'll remember for a long time. Thank you, Greg and Mary.

Great vineyard in the Snake River Valley Wine Region. We stopped by the tasting room on a sunny Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the pretty outside sitting area. Mary was a wonderful, hospitable host and we enjoyed tasting the selection of wines. Our favorite was the Merlot but the Chicken Dinner Red and Chicken Dinner White were both excellent too. With a pretty location, wonderful sunshine, and welcoming hosts this is a perfect spot for enjoying the area.

Gregg and Mary are truly gracious hosts. They love what they do and it shows. I'm no wine expert but I absolutely loved their "Chicken Dinner" red. I happened to be traveling across the U.S. and stopped in to get a flavor of the local wineries in the Snake River Valley area and Huston Vineyand was my first stop. They made me feel at home and I spent a relaxing afternoon enjoying their hospitality. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit with the Gregg and Mary and for some fine wine tasting.

We stopped by Friday August 22nd to taste the wines here. We had a wonderful time talking with other guests and with Mary. Hearing about how they started and the different wines was great, she is very knowledgable and appears to enjoy what she does. Her joy helps make the guests experience great. Stop by here if in the area.

I love all the wines of Huston Vineyards. I'm not a huge chardonnay fan, but theirs is absolutely wonderful. Love, love, love the Private Reserve Red. Expensive, but well worth it. Love their barn that they've turned into their store front. You can tell Gregg and Mary enjoy what they do and love visiting with their customers and telling the history of the surrounding area. They are both very knowledgeable about the grapes and what it takes to make good wine. They make you feel very comfortable when you're there. I love it when they have a big gathering at their place. They get the tables out and string the lights and you sit in comfort away from the sun, in the shade of the huge trees. It's just a homey feeling. I hope that their business and the wineries around them continue to grow so Idaho can be as big as California, Oregon and Washington. Take a trip out to the wine country and visit the wineries, but make Huston Vineyards your last stop so you can get a glass of wine, sit out in the yard and enjoy the sun or the shade and visiting with friends or with Gregg and Mary.

Wonderful place to spend time on a sunny fall afternoon. The owners Gregg and Mary are gracious hosts and they share their love of Wine, Agriculture, Idaho and people with everyone who visits. The Chicken Dinner wines are quite good, but rthe real fun starts with the Huston label and the reds at that. Merlot and Malbec are outstanding. Well worth the trip down Chicken Dinner Road (not kidding) off of hwy 55 outside of Caldwell Idaho.

A small business started just a few years back, with lots of recognition in the valley towards it products. Chicken Dinner White Wine and Huston Premier Red Wine. Both have won awards.
