We enjoyed a nice three course pasta meal and some great wine. The atmosphere was great. The dining area overlooked the wine storage area which was interesting. We sat with a nice couple who had driven over two hours to be there. I would highly recommend. They offer various dining experiences and wine tastings.

What to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon? Tassel Ridge offers a great retreat for singles, couples or groups. We had the pleasure of trvel the less than 60 miles to this beautiful venue oin January. The release of the Nouveau, first wine of the season, was our motive. We enjoyed wine tasting and then shared a glass of our fav and some awesome cheese Prairie Breeze, from the Iowa town of Milton, Iowa. If you are wanting a quiet yet fun filled afternoon or evening outing I suggest Tassel Ridge Winery in Leighton.

I recently went to Tassel Ridge Winery. The staff was welcoming as I walked in and the place was clean and decorated nicely. They offer free wine tasting so I tried several of their wines. After that I walked around looking at the many items that can be purchased. In the back you can look down into he cellar. A staff member came over and explained what everything was and the process in which they make wine. Defiantly a must see & I know I'll be back!

We attended Tassel Ridge's Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and what a fun time. We love Tassel Ridge wines. They are consistent in quaiity and there is a wide variety to chose from.Dinner entertainment was great as we all got to be an actor and the food was good.

As our wine trip continues Tassel Ridge Winery was another stop.Located in Leighton ,Iowa close to Pella.Easy to find.We took back roads but I would recommend staying on I80 and find Pella first then Leighton.Our server was in training on her 2nd day.Still knowledgeable in the wines yet when we had questions she could not answer she'd ask the fellow training her.This is a huge winery and sell though out the state of Iowa.All the wines we tasted we very tasty .I happen to like sweet bubbly wines and they had 3 different kinds! ,Red pink and white.I bought a pink plus 3 others kinds.Now the more you buy a bigger discount you get.So we bought a case of the wines that were not sold in our area.We just had 1 person buy then pay them back.This would also be an excellent place for a reception.

This winery is near Oskalossa, IA. We drove from Chariton, IA, and it took about one hour. This winery was set up very nicely, and appeared to have a brisk business. We joined in a tour of the facility. The wine processing and aging plant was in the same building as the wine tasting area. This area had a bar and table seating arrangement with an adjacent gift, wine and related food/snack shop. The wines were excellent, and we bought several bottles to take home. The building/facility was up-to-date construction and decor...and A+ grade from an inexperienced observer. We were impressed!

This was the first winery that we have visited in Iowa. It is close to Pella, so on our weekend trip we decided to stop in at Tassel Ridge. Very nice. The selections are many and they seem very knowledgeable on their products. They also have a selection of cheeses and also all kinds of wine gadgets. Glad we stopped.

This was a spur of the moment stop on a vacation with my husband, sister and her husband. We had visited Pella and were heading east when we saw the winery and decided to stop. We were so glad we did. The people were so friendly, and Jeff gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves his work. We are all sweet wine drinkers and this was perfect for us. We were able to sample a large variety of their wines, and never felt rushed to "sample and buy". The location is nice and the winery is nicely decorated. We were just sorry that we were limited in our ability to transport more bottles, since we live out of state. Otherwise, there would have been many more bottles in our wine racks at home!

So many wineries in Iowa, nothing outstanding about this one.

Nice Winery that always offers free wine tastings. Usually has some hors d'oeuvres for free as well. Elegant inside and just a nice, quaint, little place to visit.

we had a nice tour of the winery and tasted a few of the wines. They have a nice selection of wines to taste and the staff is very knowledgable.. a must see if you're in the Pella area

If you like sweet wines then this is the place for you. If you prefer the more drier variety then you will be disappointed.
