You must stop here if you're in the area! Look in the window and see the cheese curd being processed...really quite interesting! Taste a sample, walk around the store and select some great cheeses to bring home!

Stopped in here right before closing (5pm) on our way back from the Amana Colonies. Since we arrived right at closing, we only had time to sample and purchase some cheese so I don't know if they offer any dairy tours. There was a good selection of cheese and other products and I would recommend the stop if you are in the Kalona area and enjoy cheese.I hope to write an updated review on the Cheese House the next time I am in Kalona and have more time to spend there.
