My daughter and I spent a beautiful October Saturday down by the river in Moline. Grace at the Visitors Bureau was extremely helpful. She helped us plan our bike trip and gave us great ideas on nearby restaurants. The gift shop had lots of interesting souvenirs. I can't tell you what we bought because we are taking them home to the husband! The bike trail is fabulous! Well marked and well paved. Short detour currently around some street construction is also well marked. There are frequent bump out areas with shaded park benches. It all just looks well-planned. We are already planning the next trip here!

The visitor center hours in September were shortened and would suggest prior to colder weather it be more accessible to tourists. There is a good overview of the area at the center much to be seen.

If you happen to get lost, this is the place to go. They have all kinds of information and helpful people to show you the way to go and where to find the casinos too.

We stopped here first thing to get information on where to go and what to do. Very helpful and polite-we bought souvineers also.

I stopped in for some local information on a beautiful, sunny Saturday and was amused to see the Segway tour starting out. Tour members seemed able to handle the Segways. I heard the leader giving safety instructions for what I assumed would be a ride on the bike trail along the Mississippi. It looked like it would be fun.The visitors center rented a tandem bicycle to a couple and provided the info I needed. At the foot of Harrison Street at River Drive and catty corner to the big, glass Figge Art Museum, there is free parking in the front lot.

Nice sign on River Road, but couldn't see a building or another sign. Didn't follow up as I had driven and parked three times looking for a nice river walk. Finally found it near the water taxi, went east on east river drive and saw a tiny sign.

Lots of information - and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Davenport's visitor centre is also the venue for the Bix Society
