Alright, so what do you expect for $40? Not much more than camping fees these days! I had just biked 102 miles so my expectations were for a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Room is small; old cathode-tube TV, with lots of satellite stations, and the picture hanging on the wall showcased french-fries -- so gross and weird that it was kinda cool. And yes, expectations were met!

Very cheap rooms ($40) and we needed a place to stay. The bartender was friendly and helpful (she's the one who gave us the room key). But the first room had insects between the mattress and the sheets, so we asked for a second room. We didn't find any insects in or on the bed in the second room, but the second room was also not very clean, had a spongy spot on the floor, yecch. Not recommended.
